It also has the world and map editor so you can make your own games!

The world of Bornia is in need of champions! You have been summoned to embark on a noble journey to save all of humanity from an evil fate. You must keep your wits about you, your sword must stay sharp and ready, and your spells charged as you forge through Bornia's massive landscape. Descend into the maws of many a dark and dangerous dungeon in search of your quest's end.

You'll have at your disposal more than 50 spells and hundreds of items with great power, each drawing upon one of the elemental forces such as earth, wind, fire, and lightning. Whether you prefer a more tactical approach or attack all-swords-swinging, Mines of Grimvale features a hybrid of real-time and turn-based combat to satisfy your needs. Remember, your choices and actions affect the ebb and flow of combat so think, and act, wisely. Are you prepared to pay the ultimate price, to steal away the gift of a mine god, and journey to the Mines of Grimvale.

  • A tough, but accessible to newer players, classic RPG with a vast world to explore!
  • Features a "learn by doing" skill system without the need to collect and grind for experience points.

Once you launch it on 800X600 its ok . Only if you skip the character creation and just use premades, blue fonts on slighlty more blue background is quite hard for my old eyes. I played dungeon master like 30 years ago on release, you have to take into account the age of your customers.
Plays exactly like dungeon master + automap, wich is a very good thing cant be arsed to draw it by hand anymore plus arthritis kicks in . thats a good interface, no reason to reinvent the wheel or dumb it down like grimrock.Made a few steps, got poisoned by a slime, thanks to some part of my brain not being damaged yet by alzheimer i remember the runic combination of fireball and dealt with it. One death already , good old fun like DM and chaos strikes back. Will keep playing more.

Its a lot harder than dungeon master, absolutely not for beginers , fights are impossible most of the time even at lowest difficulty.Really frustrating game.

So, I finally bothered to check, and it's obviously done with Dungeon Master Java:

The question is, whether it's an original module or some plagiarized one.

I am sure i 've seen some eye of the beholder sprites as well, a bit redrawn maybe, but you clearly see where they come from ;)
