    Per the <a href="http://www.arxeltribe.com/news/">Axel Tribes news page</a>, <A href="http://mistmare.arxeltribe.com/">Mistmare</a> has gone gold. Here's the announcement:

    But we are.
    We have all the money, all the guns and all the technology, so who cares? For solpsistic purposes, we are the center of the multiverse.
    Anyway, it is still not as big as Europe for PC games, especially good PC games.

    That Apocalyptica game is Europe only, which is really odd since they licensed the Quake 3 engine for it. I'm not even sure you can recoup the cost of licensing Quake 3 and make a decent profit limiting yourself to that small a market. Hopefully Mistmare isn't doing that either.

    Arxel Tribes announced on Friday that its 3D role-playing game for the PC, Mistmare has gone gold. After a vigorous beta test and feedback from demo players, Arxel Tribe and sinister Systems feel confident that the game has been improved beyond expectations and is ready for prime-time on a world wide basis. The company also revealed dates for the games release in the UK, (April 18th - 25th) Europe (May 20th - May 30th) North America (late May/ early June) and Asia (May).
