I just use the AI to fight Towers of Time shit for me while I do something else.

Wait, what? The game lets you do the grind without having to play it?

Yeah, unless you get one of those "co-op" towers where you're meant to fight a super charged boss with friends taking turns whittling its health away then the option is disabled.

When you select a character for a tower just hit Square or X (PS/XBox respectively) and it'll turn AI Fighters on. From there the game will auto-play for you, and if your AI is set up good it'll completely trounce the input reading piece of shit computer. I've used it to bypass a ton of bullshit like Endurance rounds, boss fights and retarded modifiers.

It's stupid but it's what I have to do since the difficulty is pay-to-bypass mobile game levels of ridiculous.

Man that is terrible. The game encourages you not to play it.

Glad I didn't purchase this one. It looked so promising too.

The actual gameplay is very good, it's fun and has a good grasp on wanting you to have good knowledge of spacing and fundamentals to succeed over needing to do 20 hit combos like a Rainman. It's enjoyable when facing other people since it's where that whole type of gameplay shines best.

But the addition of all these modifiers kept in the main mode to unlock various customization is what makes it plummet. NRS needs to just make an ARPG already and get this augment/level up your gear shit out of their erection.

Banned from being activated here in Japan, though MK10 activates fine (even if it is not in the JPN Steam store).

Not sure if decline or incline...

There was a DLC leak which has Sindel, Fujin, Nightwolf, Sheeva (lol), Spawn, Ash Williams, Terminator and...

Ready?!

Who could it be?!

Guess!

You're wrong!

It's The Joker!

Everyone loves that shitty, overhyped, overexposed gay ass juggalo right?!

Well it's more like they have strange/insane censorship laws in regards to what can be shown in certain media and with what ratings. In this case, the big one is human dismemberment, they're apparently REALLY strict about when and where it's acceptable to show it. A good example is that for a while now the Resident Evil games have been heavily censored in Japan (basically this is a bizarro world sort of thing where they first make the international version and THEN proceed to censor the violence for the Japanese version). Another thing that's not relevant here tho is that the censorship laws are also applied around current topics, ie *Crash Bandicoot 2* got censored in Japan because it had too vaguely a reminescence to the MO of a serial killer active at the time. Like, even the pervy Japanese thing is completely bonkers paradoxical stuff, since while Japanese do produce and consume a fuckton of porn and just naughty and are overall apparently fairly chill about this stuff, they still have stricter laws about this stuff than the insane fanatical puritans of Kwa. They also have some sort of weird thing where they don't want characters with four fingers to be shown ever, and nobody knows why. According to Oddworld Inhabitants (who had to deal with this crazy thing), Disney spends five million dollars *every year* to allow Mickey Mouse to have four fingers in Japan.

So tl;dr, Japanese censorship laws be crazy...

Japan hates violence but tolerates nudity.
USA hates nudity but tolerates violence.
... and the Japanese government likes neither nudity or violence. Shinzo Abe's posse don't really like free speech in general.

Jumping on boxes to steal apples??
Nah it's specifically the death animation where you get squashed by a falling block trap. In the Japanese version Crash is completely flat instead of a head on his shoes, because that was apparently too like the serial killer (who arranged his victims' heads on top of shoes).

Well nobody knows why in the sense that they won't tell them if it really is because of the superstition. The Oddworld Inhabitants got the impression it was because of the burakumin discrimination thing because it'd be like , others have that it's because of yakuza yubitsume, but no straight official answer has ever been given (since this seems to be more of an informal thing rather than legal), beyond apparently "no four fingers, or heaps of cash up front."

What's with making Jacqui look more African? She looked more mulatta in X.

To remind you that Jacqui occupies a character slot while Ermac and Kenshi are dead in The Krypt.
