    For those fans of <A href="http://www.nethack.org">NetHack</a>, there's a <a href="http://www.partiallyclips.com/filk/nethack/">parody song</a> of the <A href="http://www.buttholesurfers.com/">Butthole Surfers</a>' song <i>Pepper</i>. Here's a bit of the lyrics to get your attention:
    <br>
    <blockquote>Skippy sank in lava, Corwin turned to slime,
    <br>
    They could both see what was coming but they couldn't pray in time.
    <br>
    Pinky fought a soldier ant that crawled out of his backpack
    <br>
    They were all in love with dyin', they were doing it in NetHack.
    <br>
    Bertha swung Mjollnir like a Valkyrie in the rain
    <br>
    Then she lost her mind in Sokoban; a flayer ate her brain.
    <br>
    They were all in love with dyin', usin' every keyboard function,
    <br>
    As they tried to find the Amulet, somewhere in the dungeon.</blockquote>
    <br>
    I'm laughing already!
    <br>

    WOW! Codex News is really in a slump now.

    First covering a console game and now covering songs.

    Are news posters topics allowed eligible for Retardo Land? By the way, "Retardo Land" shouldn't you be a little more sensitive to...

    Don't worry, if NWN survives as long as nethack maybe it will get its own song.

    Maybe we could have a song for Volourn. He might end up being the rpgcodex mascot after we finish brainwashing him.

    Eh. People have already 'made' songs for me here at the Codex. They all uniformly sucked , and were uniformly funny. :lol:

    NetHack is more fun and has more gameplay than Oblivion + Fable + NWN all put together in a precious pile of trash.

    Any time some guy takes a Butthole Surfers song and turns it in to a funny song about the most classic rogue-like out there, it's fucking NEWS, bitches. Choke it down.

    It's too bad that this thread has nothing to do with a game, and is about a stupid song. On top of that, I don't give a crap about Oblivion or Fable. I ahven't player neither nor do I plan to. Moron.

    That song writing has more style than NWN storytelling. :mrgreen:

    Well, I can't really argue against that point there. Of course, Nethack is nearly two decades old and still being developed. Rogue pretty much croaked when Moria and Hack came along.
