3D Gamers has a 348MB demo of Neuro Hunter. I'd never heard of the game, so I'm guessing a few others haven't either. So, here's some stuff found on their webpage about the game:

Cyberpunk role playing game with atmospheric graphics

First Person View

36 main and 6 side quests wrapped into an intriguing Sci-Fi-story

Gigantic subterranean World: extensive caves, secret labs, mystic temples, generator rooms uvm.

69 NPCs, you can interact and trade with

14 different monster classes and many subclasses: reptiles, hybrids, humanoid mutants, giant spiders, quantum ghosts and more…

14 different weapons with second attack options: from the rusty knife to the plasma cannon.

30 instructions and recipes, for building useful items, food or exotic weaponry

skillsystem with 7 character abilities for individual problem solutions and a high replay quality

6 classes of different implants to improve your characters’ abilities

Tactical realtime-fights in the Matrix – hacking of networks and sabotage of security systems

Theft and Data-Theft included!

impressive render cutscenes from 3D-iO

All ingame text was recorded in a professional sound studio

36 main story quests and only six side quests? Wacky.

Um, am I being really stupid here? Why do you need a soundstudio for text (it being, by very definition, written)?

Actually, it was discussed in this thread relatively recently:
    http://www.rpgcodex.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=10122

Some opinions of codexers wait within.

At least there is a demo now. I'll be back with my impressions.

I might give it a go as well, even though I hate first person.

hehe.. the most fun thing about this game, is that you can steal something from a NPC, the sell it back to him, just to stealt it again.
What a fantastic way of never having money problems.

Well, I think I played a total of 20 minutes and found one major thing that I don't like about the demo:
The fucking save game option does not work.

Now if anyone else has tried it and it does work for them, get back to me, but otherwise I'll assume it is a limit of the demo.
Which means the frustratingly small amount I've done I'll have to do over and over again.

Killing shitty little mutant creature thingies with my shitty knife is no fun. If that is an indicator of the content of the game, then the game is probably shit. However I played so little that I don't think it would be fair to judge it on that.

Maybe my masochistic impulse will kick in and I'll have another go sometime...

Okay, so did anyone manage to save their game or am I a loony??

    Edit:
Okay, the little green elf that lives in my underpants has just informed me that the two are not mutually exclusive. Still, I would like to know...

I believe I read somewhere that the save option was disabled for the demo. The thing that pisses me off though is te lack of invert of the y mouse axis. Whats the deal? Every 3d game has that option.

    You hate first person?

BTW, did I read somewhere that you are in Kentucky?
