Full Control has announced that they've signed a licensing deal with bitComposer games to develop a new Jagged Alliance game.

Nothing is known so far, aside from the fact that it will be released on PC, PS3, and 360.

So they force HobGoblin42 & co to make a real-time JA, then see it's a bad idea and hire other company to do it properly... *sigh*

Now now, since it's dead anyway, just let them get their rocks off. It's not like we would lose anything.

Exactly. What are the chances it could be any worse than the last attempt?

Multiplatform might also mean PC and mobile (iOS / Android), or were PS3 and X360 specifically mentioned?

Sorry, but when has an official press release ever used "multiplatform" in that way?

A game like Jagged Alliance being on consoles mean that it will be a dumbed down shit. Nothing to see here, move along people.

For their re-imagination/remake/whatever of Space Hulk they have the following to say, regarding cross-platform:
Not that this means it's reason to get hopes up. As much as I'd like to see a game in the vein of JA2 / JA2 v1.13. I believe it, when I see play it.

Keep this man away from hedge clippers.

Yeah, I don't really have much hope for this game. Even if it was a dev with a solid past, Jagged Alliance 2 is a tough act to follow.

Their rendition of Space Hulk looks okay, but Space Hulk is also a lot simpler in almost all aspects.
