[ Announcement ]

As you may have heard, there are rumors flying about a new Command & Conquer title in the works. EA confirmed this by posting a PR interview with Jon Van "HoMM" Caneghem, who is heading up Victory Games, EA's new strategy studio.
JVC: I can tell you it’s a Command & Conquer game for the PC, but we’re not yet at a stage where I can go into any details—we’ll be prepared to make a more formal announcement later in the year. We’re not just working on a game, though. Our general focus is on the future of Command & Conquer. That means updating a lot of the core technology to create a stable base for future development, and leveraging that work on this first game.

With a pedigreed gentleman of such quality at the helm, I've chosen to be cautiously optimistic about this project.

You know on one hand it can't be more shit than C&C4, it would be hard to top such popamole in the decline department. On the other hand, distinguished and sophisticated gentlemen at the helm aside, EA is fully capable of making an even bigger shit than C&C4.

I got stuck in C&C3 last time, trying again now. The hammy acting is something to behold.
