Outer Worlds had an Epic Games exclusive deal and has no DRM, so I'd assume it will come to GOG when that deal is over.

David Williams who worked on Deadfire and Outer Worlds as System Designer is joining InXile. Seems like his contract at Obsidian ended when Outer Worlds got shipped.

Now I shudder at the thought.

Compared to Blizzard? Most likely, especially now that they are a part of Microsoft. Blizzard has been reported to pay way below industry standards. And creatively there's even less going on at Blizz than Obs. The two companies are neighbours so the move isn't a big one and the benefits are most likely huge.

Microsoft and Blizzard salaries and security are probably equal, and I wouldn't call Blizzard some shining beacon of creativity right now.

Blizzard recently slashed employee compensation as well, leading to Mike Morhaime, among others, leaving.
