He said that he loves hardcore difficulty modes.

I believe the game will most likely have one.

Aw, come on, dude. ModStatus is bullshit. By the time you 'tards get around to "approving" my post the thread's already pages ahead and nobody fucking sees what you posted. Just take me off that shit and if I fuck up then I give you my word you can ban me permanently and I'll never say peep about it again.

I would certainly pledge some of my money if they offered a DRM free alternative.

Urgh, Sylvius the Mad, it's only a matter of time before he starts herping and derping about how his ideal role playing game is one where he defines everything during character creation and just sits and watches everything play out with no further input.

For someone who lived at Bioboards for years, Sylvius the Mad is the most Sane of people who dwell there, imo. Sometimes he does goes overboard with overanalyzing stuff though...

    I was just thinking.

They're not self publishing are they? Is that why they can't rule out DRM?

That means... it'll probably be an RPG with consoles in mind like Dungeon Siege 3?

Well I don't fucking well know do I?

I assumed they were kickstarting a game that publishers wouldn't touch, not a game that publishers are wary of touching.

I guess. What it comes down to at this point is how much can you trust Todd and his merry band of chucklefucks and how much can you trust Sawyer & Co. to deliver on these promises. I have already made my choice.

    I blame Feargussssss

Edit: seriously your kickstarter is supposed to be the game you have dreamed you could make for the last ten years that ignites your passions not the dogged insecure workmanship project
