Could it be the Steam engine (Arcanum & ToEE)? Since Tim Cain is on-board and all...

Funding slowing down was to be expected, has happened with every kickstarter so far. True, and I was surprised that they didn't put the goal to 2 million or closer to it, but even more surprising was that they weren't prepared with the stretchgoals. Updates needs to have graffix and be sexy, only explanation I can think of is that they weren't expecting to hit 1,1 million until end of this week or so.

There's still plenty of time so they can get new surges with announcing digital tiers and DRM free digital download.

They also need to add updates in the frontpage of Kickstarter with sexay graffix so they caughts the eyes of people moneybags.

every now and then someone steps in to claim this but... it's the fith day and the pedges are going down the usual way. w2 cashed in 1.29mio in 5 days falling down to the regular pledge rate. eternity stands at 1.56mio after 4 days and some hours.

    http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity/#chart-daily
    http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2/#chart-daily

just compare the rates and do the math. even with a rather slow rate of 2k per hour and 24 days this will make another 1mio income, still having 4 days left with usual high end run peaks. probably another 300-500k.

See, mature is a realitve term. Now, I'm not saying I'm better than those people, but to me a mature theme is something like the analysis of morality reminiscent of the great Russian novelists. Or how about a bit of "Lord of the Flies", or maybe even "Heart of Darkness"? There's lots of influence to be had. The Bioatard's mind, on the other hand, immediately goes for something a bit... different

Aren't they getting more than 5000$ per hour? They can easily get to 4M, or more if they handle the strech goals better, isn't that enough to make a solid game?. But they better think of something cool for the next goals.

Don't sweat it bro, this is still the first week, look how much time they've still got to go. They aren't idiots, so I'm expecting some major updates and announcements any day now. And even if worst comes to worst, and the pledges don't pick up, from the graphs Infinitron posted you can predict that they'll at least reach 2 - 2.5 M. Which is twice as much as they wanted

Yeah they are getting 4000-4500 per hour, about 100k per day.

Infinitron how do you make those charts? I visited the ruinedkingdoms site, but I can't understand a thing about those codes. XD

All those jerks lobbying for their shitty romances, even in the kickstarter comments. They're so numerous it's fucking depressing :

Yeah that's true posterity for you right there, son... :(

I'm glad he clarified that. If inexplicable jets out of tea just launch themselves out of your nose whenever something mildly surprises you, please go to a doctor.

To be fair, when I played through Aerie's romance, I constantly was spitting up bile. It's only natural to start losing rapid amounts of strange liquids when playing a Bioware romance.
