What creepy avatars?

Going by the trend of the last 4 updates, it should be out anywhere from an hour's time to a few hours time.

 

Hope so. At the start the updates were coming out 4.30 in the morning here.

 

Change his avatar again. Better safe than sorry.

 

I will go back to using the other account if my avatar gets unlocked again. This is actually a nice portrait to look at.

 

Is it the vertical slice today?

 

Class Update. You will know at least 2 weeks in advance when they are doing a demonstration video. My guess is that they will not show anything until maybe 6 months into Production. I think Obsidian learned that when they present an anything that isn't close to finished they've gotten some negative publicity (such as the first art update), so we will likely see something when everything is in 'working order'. I also think they will have looked at the criticism that Wasteland 2 got for their recent demo, which wasn't exactly a great 'show off' IMO.

it's true though, the vertical slice is as if it's never even happened. i've even asked him a few questions about it on formspring and mentioned it in the forums. he's addressed my other points, but ignored the VS.

I think they won't show anything until the backer site is up. A video'll trigger another round of publicity, and as Star Citizen and Prison Architect and Minecraft have demonstrated, frequent high-visibility media coverage can be very lucrative if you can properly capitalise on it.

 

Try 6:00 at its worst. Stayed up the entire night at times. Then made a fuss about it on the forums.
