Yes, to be more exact "Kinetic Cutting Beam", the image I seen was of the Mk XII set (well only the console) and it had a [dmg] x3 mod.

Set names are Omega Adapted Borg Technology.

    Assimilated Borg Technology

Also you can see why some of the people in the forums are in a uproar about this, the Assimilated Tractor Beam is no longer the set 4 (as it no longer exists) and was combined with set 3, meaning the whole 3 Borg parts + MACO Shields cannot be done, in my opinion the Borg set is just way too good and the set 4 was pretty much the worthless part of it, this scales it down and I hope Omega and MACO get some beefing up.

Space Jew Accounting Report - Parts Acquired:
    $336000 - 1400 IEC for KDF Base
    $200000 - 250 Seismic "Stabalizers" (sic)
$576000 - 900 Warp Coils for KDF base current and future "Practice Tactical Exercises".
    $80000 - 500 Aux Batts
    $135250 - 250 Mk1 Torpedo Launchers
    $86500 - 50 Mk3 Torpedo Launchers
    Total: $1413750

A new dilithium-sink special project will allegedly be appearing in tonight's round of nerf roulette. It appears the Borg set nerf has been delayed, as they did not mention it, but it could be one of those stealth bombs.

Did we ever get that table? I was wondering what had happened to it.
We should rename our base to Camelot. It's a silly place.

The Borg set nerf is a valid nerf, and it's most definately part of the STF reward system revamp that comes out with Season 7.

Incidentally, the EPTS shared cd is going to remove (not that it affected anything by much), and the Personnel Officer project is running and will finish tomorrow.

As for the table, we got it.

So, because you Judases all rolled over for the LAST nerf, guess what's next? The next thing they're targeting is essentially removing the Doffgrinder by making it too expensive to use, adding one or two extra zeros to all costs. On top of that, say goodbye to free doffpacks.

I warned you about this. One must always oppose nerfs on principle. Otherwise, first they came...

There's always been one. A neglected one, that's even less worth visiting because there are NO FLEET TORKAHTS on it, but it exists.

I bet everyone who fell for the lifetime sub discount racket is kicking themselves now

Yep, always been there. Just don't ask for the fleet name, it's longer and harder to pronounce than the name of Gaddafi's Libya.

Nah, we got all the KDF base categories to T1 alright, and we've been getting the cosmetic e-peen upgrades that only cost Dil. We only switched focus purely to the Fed base after we saw the rising curve in requirements after T1.

Well lets see if was worth it.

Also Season 7 should be called Season FFFFFFFFFFFFFF by what I am reading, I am not sure by the rate of things of how or if I should be playing until Season 8 hits, it seems Cryptic have achieved critical stupid greed mass and I am not not willing to deal with that, let they metric by absence as feedback of what I think about FarmSpace Online.

First, they are keeping silent of this but it seems the DOFF compactor costs will skyrocket and the general recruitment assignment will cost 1000 D, this is severally impact the amount of white DOFFs being put into the system and so raising DOFF prices, those prices are in Tribble and so far we had silence from Cryptic.

Second, Reputation system is a copy/past of the Fleet system ... with projects costing Marks, DOFFs, items and Dilithium.

Third, the "new" stores have a Dilithium cost, the cost of a MK XII STF set piece is 36k Dilithium + Omega Marks (1300 I think) + Elite Omega Marks (you get those in Elite STFs only) and of course cost of reaching the Reputation Tier that unlocks that section of the Store.

Season 6 is a massive sink and endless grind, Season 7 is even more of that and without actual content (and that does not mean the Fleet Actions I have seen) that I can play I dont really have a reason to be playing since grind for the sake of grind alone is NOT something I enjoy or even want to do, I dont even Dilithium farm anymore because of how tedious is to run the same damn thing for the 1000th time.

Way too much Dilithium sinks with a hardcap of 8k per day with too few sources with far too many sinks to thrown it into, plus DOFF changes are plain murder.

Yikes, that's pretty fucking bad. Wouldn't be surprised if they start to lose players.

Personally I've moved my Dilithium to just alt-farming the daily quiz+reports, and only do doffs with Valkar.

And yea, it would blow if the Reputation System is as grindy as the Fleet system. Now, 36k dilithium isn't THAT bad, it's the Marks I'm a lot more worried about. Now, if a single Elite STF is 100-200 Marks, then it's adequete. But if it's less 50 or something ffs...

As for Doff Compactor price hike, personally I think the idea won't get out of Tribble alive in its present condition if there's enough negative reaction. Not without something to make up for it.

When it comes to content, I still have to get around to writing and making those Foundry missions I've talked about.

Well my "main" (well first and oldest character) kinda peaked with DOFFs since .... all chains are completed, today I got that damn Cluster to crit and got the Purple Caitian Borg DOFF and not only that but that rare Entertainment Provisions also crited and hello Blue Holographic Entertainer, sure I have yet to reach T4 in all categories buts thats it, leg work seems to be done even if I have to check the Purple Bound crowd to see if I have some clusters left to Crit but I can pass off DOFF production to that character for the rest of my Fed characters, Klingon is lagging behind but still I do have a hold of some Blues and a few Purples.

Well minimum of a part is 5 Elite Omega Marks, at the very least its 15 successful runs on Elite but I assumed the reputation system would generate marks beyond STF runs ... it DOESNT, meaning its STF farminstance because you need to feed the system, no matter how low the input (entry projects are 17 marks) its still taken away, its currency PAID to unlock a store so you can PAY again.

And I think the number I read was 70 and that was counting the Optional and doing it on Elite.

I think the silence says it all.

STFs in Tribble are not grating Dilithium, that was answered as a error and they will grant it, Borg set changes were also answered as well as the STF changes, down to the "this is not negotiable" about if players are being grandfathered by time they had spend on STFs so far but those changes? Silence.

To me that means, yes ... they are planing it but the feedback have been so negative and the fact they have no excuse since to me it seems they are only doing it because nobody buys DOFF Packs from the store ... maybe if they did not padded Lockboxes with mini-packs or made Fleet DOFFs that would not had happened and they cannot defend that change

I will wait and see but Embassy add on to Fleets is another sink that I neglected to mention, according to a developer it will only be "half" of the current Starbase project as if THAT is not bordering insanity (to me its like saying "its only half of the Pacific Ocean" as if HALF of it is not too much) and what will be beyond that, considering how dead are the Defari and Nukara are I dont hold any hope for New Romulus being any diferent.

I wonder if there's some really loud grind-wank crowd clamoring for this kind of stuff lurking on Tribble or the forums or something.

Some people that never done STFs dont see a issue with everyone having to grind their way back to STF store access, since I have incomplete sets I certainly have a issue because its one more mouth to feed besides the other reputation system (Romulans) and of course, the Fleet (now with Embassy grind) but that seems about it, I seen the occasional "Dilithium costs are A-OK" posts but those are rare.

I do dislike the catering Cryptic is doing to the large Fleets, they know damn well the majority of Fleets have 12 or less active members and so another sink will just make progression halting because we just got 3 more tiers for 2 more categories, all requiring to be feed with Dilithium, DOFFs and god knows what ... looking at the wiki it seems the reason you be doing those are for Mk XII consoles, the rest is another fucking tailor with a "exclusive" Costume, DOFF stuff and Romulan Bridge Officers because we are not MultiKultural enough and some other shit.

The reason I am mad about Omega Reputation is they taken a existing part of the game and added grinding so we can PAY for something that, yes it was random but fuck it, it was free ... no Dilithium cost attached and the refusal to grand players that HAVE been doing STFs to be granted the access they previous HAD, also you know what the timer that is on the projects? 1 DAY and 16 HOURS ... and that is Tier 0 projects and the basic ones.

Since I have "parts of" a Set I am fucked since I be stuck at Lv 0 and having to grind my way back to get the rest of the set, this is pure greed by their part because players that never been in STFs or did a few but not enough to get a Accolade? I can understand they were not really active participants and so they invested nothing but people that did and have the Accolades? why the fuck are being treated like they did nothing? This IS the end game in terms of content we had to play and yet ... its like "everyone must farm now".

TWO Sinks seasons in a row is idiotic, I like to know who was the moron that decided that "well players certainly liked having farming fields so lets add more" because we needed a break from "no content" Season 6 that was just a grindfest instead of another season that is offering more grindfest, worst it have the nerve of taking a part of the game, the end content, put it on a different box and say "here you go, that will be $7.95 + tax", at least a lot of the Romulan stuff is new but STFs? Just ONE.

With just one new STF, they better add CXP conversion for Omega Elite too. The hell am I grinding a million STFs for some damn gear.

Incidentally, this is something me and mary talked about regarding how delightful Champions is when it comes to gearing: Three dailies, up to six hours of work in total, and you've geared yourself in a fashion where you can hang out with the best.
