What is the best way to get Dilithium?

Easiest way is doing the Daily Quest (not sure if it starts after level 10 or what) where they pay you to play three Community Made missions.

Now this would be a hassle, but there are Community missions made solely to take advantage of this. My favorite are a series of quests involving worshiping/serenading the info-console across the hall from the transporters at Earth Space Dock. You can do all three in under a minute.

When you go to the Community missions screen, change the filter at the top from 'Top Rating' to 'Hot'. The esd series are some of the first choices. Cheesy as hell, but this way you can save the good player created stuff for when you've run out of official content.

As far as the actual gameplay goes, yeah. I still was kinda digging it by reading the flavor text. Gonna be getting time travel now, oh boy!

ALSO VAARNA YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO SOMETHING WITH A COMIC SOMEWHERE OR ELSE TERRIBLE THINGS WILL HAPPEN. I was given that warning to give to you, and having completed my mission I get delicious delicious skillpoints.

Lv.20 and got my Science vessel. Looked terrible, so I decided to buy the advanced science vessel. I guess the extra 3000 or so hull points helps. I'm really struggling in space combat. I routinely come out of fights with my shields in red and yellows and my hull down to 60-75%.

"Do consoles stack?" The hilarious new meme sweeping (and clogging up) the local and zone chat at starbases. Joy.

Finally got to do that Borg distress call mission. Me and all of a couple other ships that showed up. Needless to say we got our asses kicked and the Borg left.

The USS Xerxes. I spent 800 CPoints on this on solely because commander level science vessel looks shit.

Alright, whats a decent weapon load out ? I have 3 fore and 2 aft spaces. I'm using a full broadside of phasers right now. I have a photon torpedo or in my inventory, just in case.

EDIT : You guys know any more great persian and/or arab kings/rulers ? Might as well get a naming theme going for my vessels.

All of mine are the names of spacecraft in the Star Ocean series, so I sympathize.

Edit: If someone else could take care of Fen's admittance, please do so. My launcher screwed up and I had to completely uninstall it and re-download. Pain in my ass.

I have been busy with the Romulan Episodes so I been out of this tread for a bit.

I did The Vault with a Type 8 shuttle and holy crap, those things can fight (even taken down the Bird-of-Prey) so I got a Shuttle now, if you buy one (it just cost credits, Type 8 is unlocked in The Vault mission) and want to take it down for a spin, just go to the Bridge, take the turbolift to engineering and go to the Telelport room, you can switch to the Shuttles you have and then just return to tactical and you be in your Shuttle (kinda similar way to get back to your ship, just with less walking).

Also I have to say the Galaxy-class was a bit of a disappointment since it had wost handling and I never managed to handle Romulan Escort ships and Cruisers well, I would often be destroyed ... odd thing is I could handle Birds-of-Prey just fine but above? No and named ships were even worst (especially that Scimitar-class, I had to redo the entire mission because it wiped the Fed fleet and after the 3 time it did that, they stop comming and no way I could taken down that beast alone).

The Sovereign-class on the other hand appears to be working quite well, its appears to be more maneuverable and the extra tactical slot seems to have be doing the trick, also since I am a Science Officer I get Holographic Fleet that is pretty niffy as it confuses the target ship.

been looking at the ships you can buy with cryptic credits... wonder how the multi-vector assault things work... has anybody tried that ?

I suppose its like Saucer Separation, you are pretty much buying a Vice-Admiral ability with a extra part of the ship flying around.

I think Saucer Separation is good at Vice-Admiral since it can turn your Cruiser into a Escort in terms of maneuverability despite its losses, I suppose the multi-vector is better as your parts do seem to not lose that much, it seems to be a better version of Saucer Separation that is kinda useless for a Escort ship.
