Since ExileCon will be also official announcement and presentation of 4.0 aka PoE2 something tells me that this is not just nudge toward D2 fans but probably something more. Maybe they will be joining GGG. Torchlights aren't that hot and David already said plenty of praise about PoE and even twitch streamed it before talking about it.

I've read best way to farm oni-goroshi is to make 2-3 scions and rotate them non-stop while instance resets... will still take about 8 hours unless you are lucky.
Bad design decision if you ask me - pure soul-crushing boredom for all or nothing result. Maybe do it while stoned?

As i said already - i've always liked Twilight Strand so it's not bad. And i'm not actively farming. Just running it from time to time while reading.

I stuck enough on this league that I managed to almost complete Atlas, killed Shaper with 3 deaths on my first run, killed all the Guardians, killed Elder (was very surprised by how easy the fight actually is), killed Uber Atziri with 2 deaths (to the fucking trio of all things)

I guess the remaining challenges would be Uber Elder but accessing it looks like a big pain in the ass. I never did Pale Court fight either, or some of the harder Breachstones.

Soon I'll stop playing tho, maybe I'll give my Starforge and a six-linked Belly of the Beast to some newbie

Wasn't Brevik brought in as a consultant for Chinese PoE? I wouldn't be amazed if he is being courted by Tencent to transition Chris Wilson out once his stake vests and he can fully cash out.

Don't use Scion, spectral throw will make you want to kill yourself.

I did this first league Oni-Goroshi was released when it was easier to farm, took me up to 2 hours to farm it. Made a very fun Molten Strike Jugger with it afterwards
No fucking way I would do this for 8h.

I have 3 or 4 oni in standard carried from various leagues. All my own. It's actually meditative process. And act 1 twilight strand is still best area in the game.

I'm thinking about dropping usual frenzy path in ascendancy and going for phasing. My oni-raider is very tight on skill points so i don't pick frenzy on wheel anyway and without overleech or something like that she's pretty squishy so every bit helps. Right now she can dodge well, but

ED contagion build is the most I've ever messed with tree, spent around 30 regrets, full life, hybrid, CI, damage, area nodes, jewel slots, lots of choices good build to get comfortable with tree.
Also made a quick frostblades and it easy does at least 2/3 of legion if anyone wants to go non-meta.

Failed a pure Tul breachstone yesterday because I wasn't even paying attention to the timer and didn't realize the normal mobs give almost no time, and the rare Goliaths take way too fucking long to kill, they must have like 3-4? million HP, which is absolutely retarded for a rare mob. How much time does it take to grind up a Tabula Rasa on the strand? Seems like Oni-Goroshi and Tabula Rasa would be extremely valuable for SSF.

Bullshit, random is random. I got 6 exalt drops this league and no tabula yet.

Unless you "just play" a TON, you should be farming blood aqueduct, channel or waterways to get it.

If you're really desperate, you can throw chance orbs at simple robes but that's just pissing in the wind. You'll probably end up with a Thousand Ribbons if you're "lucky".

Random IS random, but tabula is pretty common.
Sure, I played a TON this league (I wanted a 36/40 in SSF and got it), but I also found like 7-8 tabulas, at least 2 of which were from the card sets.
That being said, I guess tabula IS rarer than an exalt drop, because I've found 15 exalts at the same time.
But yeah, if you want a tabula, just grind the two maps where it drops - the drop is fairly common, and we're talking like probably a couple of hours of fast farming, provided you have the map pool. Barring that, a9 acqueduct is always available, if a bit less forthcoming.
Even then, a good rare 5L is probably still better. You lose out on a bit of damage but gain a bunch of survivability instead.

What i really hate in new league is what they did with uniques. Now it looks like there is ~10 items total and you will get same shit again and again and again. Such uniques.
