There are no slings, there's no animation for them you clowns. Just the Fist.

First one can't move his mouse right to scroll the screen to make characters run, then can't read SRD template and thinks bandits are armed with +7 swords. now this

oh woe on me
there definitely are slings because I had one

You never read SRDs?

(it's total AB, not enchant. it is always written in d20 like that)

I don't play Pozzfinder as table top, so no. I guess that makes more sense than giving them +7 swords. The bandit camp is still an RNG fest. I've been through that piece of shit on both custom and Challenging before and it is never fun or strategic fighting these fuckers.
So, your reason for not liking pathfinder is being to dumb to understand that +7 means overall attack modifier and not weapon enchantment level? Very typical for pathfinder:kingmaker hater.

No, my reasons for not liking Pathfinder and DnD 3.5 as systems are the convoluted mechanics when there exist smoother more elegant approaches. They are perfectly fine as CRPGs when the computer does the math.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
honestly don't even feel like completing it, it's getting really boring

You can power through if you know what you're doing and ignore most of the side stuff. It's pointless anyway.
The next chapter isn't any better though.

It is also on the rails and very combat heavy.
But at least things happen, scenery changes, you make progress. You might even be challenged sometimes (if somewhat unfairly). Also you're not getting lost/confused. I'd say it's a huge improvement over HatEoT

house at the edge of time railroading is :decline:
"fuck your party setup you spent the entire game working on lol"

Common, its just 1 char. These things happen in games. I mean, even Aerith had to die for story reasons.
Conveniently in this case a mercenary recruiter waits for ya just outside the House...

Now after God knows how many patches. Before that entering the House could easily lead to a no-win scenario.

The game really shits the bed during the last two chapters and that's a fundamental thing, not something they can just fix with patches.
House spoilers obviously
The biggest issue with the House is that it is confusing as fuck. At the very least they could have given the fog a different color so players are made aware that they didn't simply teleport somehow and it's actually a completely different map. The map itself is bad too, since it largely consists of pointless rooms filled with fuck you enemies that aren't fun to fight in the first place. The last two chapters are way too heavy on the fighting anyway. The Castle of Knives right before the House has a perfectly fine mixture of talking and fighting and multiple solutions to problems but all of that completely stops the moment you enter the House. It's reasonable for a player to assume that the trend from Castle of Knives continues. It's not like the House is occupied by mindless undead or beasts, you should be able to talk at least some of the Wild Hunt out of attacking you. Those guys are all chaotic so it's not like they'll kamikaze themselves for the honor of m'lady. The same goes for Maggot Man and Gnarly Witch, you should be able to play them off against each other or something. It would create a nice narrative inversal for the player to go to Nyrissas home and fuck her shit up through guile and sabotage.

IIRC there's a way to get rid of at least one the Maggot Man or Gnarly Witch without a fight, it has to do with those mirrors. There's a quest to go from mirror to mirror in the right order, if you do that, you get new dialogue options.

I think you can deal with both of them without fight.

They are not the problem though, they are at least unique as enemies. (although not as unique as in pnp where worm-man has Timestop and Flight)
