Do I play it now or do I wait until its officially out, decisions :/

It has been about 5 months since I last played through the game and finding my spreadsheets is hard, but from memory, for level 1-7 leopard was better and once you have access to a full array of buffs and can transform your pet into a dragon, a dog is better. That was based off monster ratings on unfair. So it wasn't just group think, it was incorrect group think.

Pretty much all the casters are overpowered.

From my experience (solo unfair) the pet is a decent enough distraction in the early game that lets you cast 1 or 2 spells without instantly dying, which makes it much more manageable. Once you get to the House at the End of Time however, it was completely useless and would die if something breathed on it.

 

A lot of guaranteed hit spells also make a difference.

 

This attitude is retarded, the game still has problems and launched literally unfinished so it's not hard to see why people would have given it bad reviews

 

Melee you kinda need dodge tanks with monk dip and even better if you get access to mirror image. The problem with unfair is not so much the bloated stats but more the damage modifier (taken x2). On hard, your tanks can take one or two hits from a big mob. On unfair they just get one shotted even with DR. Dodge tanks reach much higher touch AC than armor tanks as well so they don't suffer as much late game vs a lot of touch attacks. One of the key things is to never get caught flatfooted especially at the beginning of combat (expeditious retreat is key to kite while recovering your footing after combat start). Prologue is pure suffering though - no matter how you do it with a melee class. There are few classes that can be built to deal with the prologue relatively unscathed but they aren't necessarily going to do too well later on (scared huntsmaster inquisitor for example). Once you get out of the prologue it's all about taking the tempo dips (vivisectionist/monk) that allow you to close the stat gap early on.

 

Have anyone tried turn based mod yet? Just how GUD it is??

 

Overall score is not Mixed, but last 30 days is Mixed for some reason. Atm it is certainly not worth that.

 

So this EE version include the whole game with dlc and all the content or is just a rename for the new patch?

I'm still waiting for the whole pack sale to play the game :S

challenging is the real normal,hard is hard and unfair is unfair.

Didn't really expand on what to do beyond the prologue, since I feel like people should play the game themselves, but finishing the prologue is something people complained a lot about so it is explained there. If anything in particular sparks your fancy I can expand on the level progression.

 

It will be probably separate to kill some negative reviews. DLC's are separate for sure. If you had none you will get zilch.

 

The game has been perfectly playable for months.

 

I ran off after getting a bug and decided to play until it's patched up. I want to try it once more, but I thought it'd be all fixed up by now. They're brining out an Enhanced Edition, though? WTF is this all about? I was about to redownload it until I read that. Are they revitalizing the graphics or something or is it just a name to fix all the shit that has been wrong with the game? It was launched unfinished. I this the real edition of the game like when Deadstate pulled this shit?

 

Is there a way to revive companions in Varnhold's Lot? I checked the girl who sells equipment after asking her priest service and no revive scrolls of any kind, same thing with the mage scroll seller.

I am now at the cultist area and still no one who sells revive scrolls, kinda want to cheat and give my self a scroll or something if possible.

I think I am 2 levels away for my priest to have the spell, that's kinda long time.

 

I think there are some Res scroll drops later in the actual final dungeon. But I think the stuffs are pretty limited so you might as well reload if you get someone killed pretty early.

I have got to updated Kingdom Management in ch 2. Crisis points are even better than I expected - extra +5 to roll per point. Could help a lot with harmful high DC events in late chapters. But I still have no idea how to get more than starting 5. I have checked all starting buildings description but there is nothing new there.
No new items in starting assortment for city traders too.

That final battle in Varnhold's Lot....

 

Is there a way to replenish or refill a wand? similar to BG selling and buying or something I mean.

Not really enjoying Vornhold's Lot that much, feels like a drag and not sure what with the arbitrary lack of stores, main game had stores with everything needed almost at any time even at end game.

 

A bandit crit Tristan so hard that he was deleted from my game. As in, Tristan’s portrait disappeared from my party UI bar and his model vanished. I guess the bandit had the Blade of the Immortal.

Luckily, a reload fixed it.

 

I think Tristian said he has similar ability to Linsi, where his goddess teleports him to a safe place.
