It was my mage plus unleveled nok-nok at 6 or 7 level and no items... so I just bluffed the barghest away

 

And now got 2 masterpieces in one visit to capital. Armor from dwarf and fauchard from Tulip.

 

Not on 1.0.15b and Human Conjurer. Does it happen with ur MC or the companions (it doesn't happen with either with me anyway)?

 

Wait all armor look etc. is tied to character class and you can't change it ?
Or i am missing something ?

Tried to go naked and my character still wears cape and hood (rogue)

 

That's odd. It happens to all my prepared casters, but only the bonus slots from their items, and only in the capital. Not sure when it started but it was doing it in 1.0.15b and still in 1.0.16.

 

I have the Harrim bug that when it heals ppl it causes ability drain though. He started to do this shit after Pitax.

He is not rejecting her. He just willingly decides to stay human(until he dies i assume) as a self-punishment for betrayal. And of course it either stats boost or form, not both together.

 

Yes, there's the base outfit which is class-derived, and then the armour you wear appears over that/in addition to it.

Nyrissa manipulated Tristian in thinking he was a celestial (and she was holding his immortality) when he fact he was a normal cleric. So, he's really a celestial?

Anyway, I think the Oculus needs a heavy buff, especially considering what you lose if you take that path.

 

There's an option in the settings menu that lets you deactivate "class-based default outfit" appearance.

 

Lame as fuck.

In the trial they talk about a book and a spell.... but they don't seem to give it to you, even if the dialogue suggests otherwise. Bug? Only for me?

 

Check spellbook across all your characters. I got it on Harrim for some reason.

 

Yep... I have it on Harrim... "only good characters can use this spell" ... wtf....

 

I assumed quest just opens spell for all your clerics. Try creating a new one and check if he has it.

Protective Aura isn't actually that good IMO because it doesn't stack with what you probably already have, but it's something. His Angelic Form is pretty solid, though.

 

Must be a cleric? trying to reload, kicking out harrim, hoping Octavia gets it. Am i wasting time?

There's a mod which let you change the character's look, including the character model:

Unfortunately, that's not how it works, unless they've added a new option in the beta patch. The existing option ("Class-specific outfits for the party") just means that the class outfits are shown without the equipped armour. If you disable it, (it's by default disabled), it will instead show the characters with the class outfits and the equipped armor.

There's a mod that lets you change the class-specific armour (to get rid of the damn backpacks and stuff), but as far as I know, that's the only way to do so.

 

Is this a bug that there is no road here, or do you just need inhumanly high Perception to spot it?

I believe that they did put that option in the 1.1 patch actually.

 

Nice, thanks for posting this. However it doesn't seem to make changing the base model (for your main) possible. I'd really like to be able to take half-elf model for an elf, the default one is just cringe-worthy.

 

Good to hear. I didn't see it in the patch notes--and haven't downloaded the beta, since, given their patch track record, it will probably set my PC on fire--but am glad to hear they added a new toggle for it after all.

 

It's a bug.

 

Did you give him an item with an 'on hit' drain? Apparently this bug happens because heals are treated as attacks.
