Do you happen to know the time zone BAdler used to point out when the stream is going to be? I need to know it in order to determine when the stream will start.

So apparently archers didn't use to carry quivers on their back, but rather on their belt, and for a very good reason. In PoE they draw from their back.

Isn't Sawyer supposed to be a history expert?

So just as warriors never wore their swords on the back (because you can't draw it from there duuuh), it seems archery also became the victim of the rule of cool.

To be fair, back quiever's were a valid approach in archery, and were used.

They're not actually drawing anything since bows work without arrows in the game. :M

Stop being passive agressive. I didn't say that everybody used that. But it was used:

I'd bet the quiver on the back was more of a military parade type thing, like how in modern military parades soldiers hold their guns on display. But once war starts all hell breaks loose and you use the weapon how it's supposed to be used

Can't wait to watch the stream they will be showing later today. It will be the last video footage I look at before the game releases. I will follow everything else.

It's probably a lot easier to carry a quiver on your back when you are marching.

I hope this means that the testers were now actually able to tolerate the combat for long enough to get annoyed at the ambience sounds.

PAX South or something, there'll be a panel with Sawyer, Brennecke, Cain, Avellone and BAdler and I think Josh will be playing again.

D:OS outside of Cyseal still isn't playable after seven months. Wasteland 2 isn't playable after four.

On the plus side it works out for me if they finish those up before Pillars is ready, because I can only be disappointed further if I play them after.
