Yeah you're right. Didn't remember him masked at all.

Why does he wear the mask? Can't he like basically take control of anyone that spots him and make them forget about it if he's spotted? He doesn't even seem to have any qualms about killing innocents so I doubt he's worried about getting caught. He'd probably just kill the fucker that spotted him doing something naughty.

 

Yeah thaos is unmasked in the second half of the game. I remember that his portrait was drawn in a manner that concealed his eyes (see crag hack there for an equivalent), so it might explain why you don't remember him without his mask. I mean we never see his eyes, and eyes are the gateway to the soul.

You have to account for the reality that the party would be tricked out in better gear in the release version. In POE the party would be swimming in uniques by level 6.

Well, how else will you track your progress of purging non-human dissidents from the Deadfire?

 

And fight the boss at level 20. People do like to go for boss fights overleveled and kill it in a few hits. I was surprised when thaos and the golems fell in less than 30 seconds.

 

Well it is good for immersion,it is a plus if nothing else.

Representative diversity does not mean that every single snapshot of people necessarily shows a perfect ratio of the people represented. The ideals should be shown on more of a good faith basis. Maybe one thing has tons of Asians, or another has tons of elves. The point should be that the individual races are treated with respect.

As expected he is a failure when he builds from the ground up. His autism cannot handle a ruleset where he calls the shot.

Not to mention that Feargus Cuckhard will never allow Obsidian to do a TB game.

 

Well, from the impressions I've read it does look like this patch was a general step forward, right?

 

Could the import/export info be hinting at a trade system? Would fit the scenario to a T.

 

Or that they planned one and left the text in for flavour when the system got canned.

Hope they keep the titan the way he his for the real game - they may have over-corrected a little, but I applaud the effort! Having the summons show up in the middle of the fight definitely kept me on my toes. Well done Josh!!

 

if this game isnt going to have MCA then it wont have a Female Rogue With A Past so how can I romance if my heart dont get stolen

I think it's mostly placeholder stuff - what does seem promising is the faction interactions, which we get to see some of in the beta.
