Dang I might actually get this game and play it. (Not a big fan of the polynesian setting). GO CHRIS!!! This being said with TB I think you need to have fewer combats or it will really drag the game. Will be watching reviews of this and see how that goes.

Both Kingmaker and PoE2 were developed with RTwP combat in mind, simply giving it a TB option is not going to make the combat better - the devs would have to go through significant re-work on encounter design which most of people don't seem to get.

This is what I wonder about. In TB you have more tactical thought out battles that in theory should take more time. While I like these better I think the sheer number of combats should be less in this system. Will be interesting to see how it goes.
