Pirates of the Caribbean - where are the smugglers?

I have a slight problem on the PC version on PotC (not sure if any of the map names are different to xbox is why I am specific)

What I am wanting to know is where do you find the smugglers?

After talking in the tavern they tell you to go to the place called <insert island name here> shore


After trying all the shores you can sail to on the island at both day and night I have been unable to meet up with the smugglers


Anyone know what I am doing wrong

ive got the xbox version. for me i went to the bar, told em i had some goods, showed up at the place (skull rock for example) LANDED, went ashore, looked around for a bit, then found em. its not overly obvious where they are, as it shouldnt be. after all, there trying to conceal goods.


in the end though, its a good way to get quick money, and a chance to rob some battleships.
