Defending the Core Warehouse was the hardest thing in game until now. It took me hours :\

Yeah, Energy Pistols are several time more efficient than Mechanical Pistols. No surprise tbh.

They are fun, but the ai is very dumb and won't avoid acid puzzles. If a neutral or allied npcs steps into them, they go hostile. Managed to piss off the entire foundry that way.

They are powerful, close but not as much as Energy pistols. The issue is that you need to spend huge amounts of special ammo and that shit is expensive.

You cannot use them on the spot like the Energy pistols, you need to take the right feats and they will become very effective from lvl12+. They are not feasible early game.

I've tried two times to use Chemical Pistols as soon as possible (lvl4) and I couldn't make it work. I went broke twice. I'm not saying it's not possible but you really need to know what you are doing.

They require special strategies like gather all enemies in one spot and then hit them for maximum damage.

They need the CAU armor and the special belt.

They don't support the insane Critical Power build path therefore you have to go full special attacks with them.

My impression is that they are a middle ground between Laser Pistols and Plasma Pistols and they are intended to be used in tandem with another weapon (most likely SMG or other type of Pistols).

Think about Chemical Pistols as actual grenades: not at efficient but somewhat similar.

Honestly, I can imagine a combination between Electroshock Pistol + Incendiary Blob Pistol but I have no idea how someone could make it work.

hell bovine is right. They are messy and an absolute nightmare when you fight with allies because they don't know how to avoid acid puddles.

I think this is a new unique.

I've managed to finish the Gauntlet with only 2 keys! I got the electric room and the Amazement labyrinth ... no time to find the keys. I had to kill Rathounds and Syphoners for the remaining 2 keys.

I never used this thing.

One of the most funny thing happened: Two Cuttlesnails have killed 3 Death Stalkers! I have no clue how.

Carnifex failed to kill me in the first round therefore I used the Taser + Molotov + 1 Focus Stim for 4 criticals in total. 3k damage in total.

First time Invictus on Dominating

Energy Pistols got nerfed!? My previous Energy Pistol had a Critical damage bonus of 322% and this one has one of 308%!!! How is this possible?

I've done almost everything before starting the Expedition. Honestly I'm not looking forward to it.
