You ain't the only one that reads, Lacrymas . Any novelist worth a damn would look at Planescape's abhorrent writing style and shallow themes and consider it garbage. Rightfully so.

The gameplay aspect sucks too. Planescape is more JRPG than CRPG, and has some of the worst combat design ever. Why play a crappy visual novel, when you could read a much better fantasy series instead?

You will find thousands of novels with better writing and no shitty combat sprinkled in. I'd argue the same for games too, because Planescape's superfluous pretentious writing is on the lower end of the spectrum.

Planescape is one of those games you aren't allowed to criticize, especially here of all places. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be criticized though. Here of all places.
