Still, things change, maybe they'll go for it one day.

That being said - Mangagamer is localizing Euphoria right now, and that game is WAY darker than Rance games ever was.

iirc from the /vg/ threads Maria is a bit of a SJW, a feminist and a follower of FF/Sarkesian ... I guess that Rance's shenanigans transcend all definitions of PC.



Currently I'm playing Battle Goddess Zero from Eushuly, oh boy...
Starts as your typical naive pacifist paladin meets true love story, a couple of chapters later it turns into a massive trainwreck of rape, dead and humiliation. And that's before shit hits the fan and events take a turn to the codex (in a very literal way). Pity that it's still a partial translation.
A must LP.

Tap to rape any target. Rape gives Rance +15 ATK/DEF. Can also rape adversary if female , 15-29 of age. Everytime a female character is played , Untap Rance

Would love to see more things like this. Cant say there is a lot of RPG , cRPG, JRPG that doesnt take himself too seriously. Any suggestion for a comedy/funny/hilarious RPG?
And no, Earthbound serie is not funny. Entertaining maybe , but it doesnt tackle my funny bone like Rance does~

Alicesofts new game set on a continent similar to the Rance world.

From the trial, the gameplay seems like a superior Rance Quest Magnum.

TADA is actively involved in the development and he's the one who made all of Alicesofts good games.

 

So in Evenicle Rance, Rance just goes around, talks about Ramius' tits, rapes women and then wrecks the final boss straight away.
