The pre order bonus for Evenicle is Evenicle Rance.

It's a very short game where Rance is the protagonist of Evenicle.

Way to undermine your primary game Alicesoft. Just like Daiteikoku, but this time straight in your face.

Evenicle is pretty fun so far.

It's what Rance Quest should have been like

Just completed the game and it shits all over Daiteikoku.

Asterisk is no Rance but he wasn't an annoying protagonist like I feared.

In the Evenicle setting having sex with someone makes you get married.

Each person can only be married to one person so having sex with additional people will make you an outlaw (outlaws can be killed be knights, can't grow food (all their crops die), can't raise animals like cows etc.

If you become a knight you can marry additional people 2 at the first rank, 4 at the next rank and so on until ten.

In the Rance preorder bonus, Rance becomes a knight and then and outlaw about halfway through chapter 1.

Started playing Sengoku Rance for the first time on Sunday and I'm already on turn 65 (played maybe 15-20 hours). No game has got me hooked like this in a loooong time. Reminds me of Romance of Three Kingdoms, which is also great.

I have two main complaints about Sengoku Rance:

    1) In the beginning of every turn I'm hit with unskipable text segments that take about 50 mouse clicks to get through. Most of these text segments aren't even relevant to the actual gameplay. There's so much filler text that occasionally I skip over important story segments because I've gotten so bored at clicking through endless walls of text describing how someone is celebrating their birthday. They really should have distinguished more clearly which story segments are actually important and which are just filler crap and you should be able to skip over all text even during the first playthrough.

    2) The game map always stays the same, which hurts replayability. If the player starting location or the locations of other houses could change like in KoDP the game would be infinitely better.

Other than that, the game is great. It doesn't need eroge at all to be entertaining.

1)Wasn't there a skip button that auto skip to next texts till we get the controls back? Also skip button skips them at ultra-light speed.

    2) Nothing hurts this Sengoku's replayability. It probably eats most of them so called RPGs on C&C front. Waifu choices also create good replayability. And we can also choose other houses after completing it once.

There's a skip button, as said, and also pressing CTRL skips whatever dialogue is going on.

There are different routes which increases play ability.

    Also free for all mode.

Also Rance is 10/10 most entertaining RPG protagonist of the year

You can? Well that makes the game even better than I thought. :D

The SKIP button doesn't skip new text, however I hadn't tried to use CTRL before - that seems to do the trick. This will make playing much more enjoyable. Thanks!

Up in the menu options there's also a button that automatically skips all text already read before. It's pretty nifty for replays.

You can only choose other houses in FFA mode, which is much more simplistic than the main game.

That being said, NG+ bonuses add a lot of replayability, especially if you aim for High scores

And when you finish Sengoku Rance you play Daibanchou and then curse the fact that nobody will ever have the balls to translate Daiakuji

You don't really need to savescum.

And the only really odd requirement was that you need Hibachi to fuck one of Masamune's wives.

Many officers can be only got but capturing them in battle. And it's very much luck-based. I gave up when trying to get Mouri sisters.

From memory the Mouri sisters are automatically captured when you defeat Mouri (assuming you did the challenge)

Well of course it was. It's made to be watched alone in a dark room with the blinds closed. Watching it with another person is like playing an fps with a gamepad, it just can't be fun.
