Btw, Rance VI is at 70% and Maria has gotten to translate 5D after checking the previous translators work, currently at 42%.

Damn, I didn't know that in Rance can actually die in Sengoku Rance if his units are defeated in battle. I won a really epic battle against The Takeda Übermensch Yamagata, but since Rance died it was game over man, game over. The only consoling thing about this whole experience was the fact that all the girls that I (Rance) had enslaved with his hyper weapon swore eternal celibacy and never sleep with another man. I guess that's all that matters in the end for Rance anyway.

 

Well if the new news that is coming out from Japan about Rance 03 is true- it's going to be at least partially voiced.

I guess they have the VAs from the hentai ovas.

Rance ALWAYS dies if his troops are wiped out in battle unlike other characters where it's chance-based.

Makes him a bit of a liability on higher difficulties but you got to stick with him since he's basically the best Dungeon-Runner/Boss killer

I'm 75 hours in Sengoku Rance and Im done with True History, Ran and Kenshin Routes.

Time to go Yamamoto and Kill the Monkey routes.

 

The bug where you use Feris, NPCs disappear, then you reload and are stuck behind an NPC in an area you shouldn't have been?

 

The latest patch includes the old Japanese patch that fixed that bug.

Rance III isn't much of a game anyway. Everything worthwhile is covered in the Let's Play.
Though The Entitled One missed a small Lia scene.

I'm not sure they'll all be party members at the same time. Milli, Leila and Rick clearly perform pretty similar roles. It could be that you get Milli first and later upgrade to Leila and then have Rick in the end game. Also sounds like you change your activity party when camping so you might end up with all three and everyone will just use Rick over Milli and Leila anyway.

Not sure where Feliss is because she was put in a different category but the released images clearly show her as a party member and she does get contracted by Rance.

Helmanite men are massive as per usual. Thoma is canonically the strongest human in any of the canon games and I wonder how Rance 03 will reflect that.

The evil demons of the Hornet Faction

Demon Satella, Demon Noce and Demon Ithere


Ithere's Three Apostles - Topaz, Garnet and Sapphire. They were basically completely irrelevant in the original.

Obviously Noce's aim is to revive Gele but Gele's design hasn't been released. I do wonder how they handle Noce and Gele because arguably they're the two most powerful enemies Rance has actually fought. I guess Ithere will be beaten by Shizuka striptease again and Satella looks too thin.

It's not really using the same system.

Only similarity seems to be that you walk through dungeons in the same way you do in Rance 01.

The battle system seems completely different.

From what I can tell from the battle system, you also have a limited number of skills that you can distribute amongst your party members. Presumably character specific skills like Rance Attack will be exempt from that.

 

TADA has also mentioned that he wants to remake IV and do a proper remake of II

 

When did Patton get Laharl hair antenna?

 

Obviously they are evil antenna and he'll cut them off when he becomes a good guy.

 

So modding Sengoku has become possible.
