Yuri totally had it coming after what he did to poor Alkaides. J_C was bad enough, but what he did to Alk was way worse.
DOXXING IS AGAINST THE HONOUR CODE, FUCKERS!
I think there are around six or twelve codexers who know who I am (mostly slips, really, although there was one who must have stalked me for some reason), but they at least have enough honour not to spread it to the winds. I know who some codexers are as well, so we good.

Isn't there a rule.... that says you may not post real life information about anyone unless you obtain their permission? I don't believe this is even limited to codex members, it applies to anyone and everyone.

DU should create a list of micro issues he must clear before he posts his "update". Then never do it....and after 18 years run an indiegogo campaign to help create a fund to clear the remaining 1.5 micro issues by next Friday.

 

Essentially this. It was a huge mistake to name the name especially when you have access to this kind of information.

I don't have access to people's names, unless they registered with a named email address, but I can see people's IPs and their country and likely city. It's easy to hit the IP button and see this kind of thing, it's at the top of every post for me. So I avoid mentioning people's country unless it's in their profile or they're so loud about it you can't not know.

And then I've met plenty of Codexers in real life and learn plenty of things about people here from those. Since it's almost impossible to pinpoint what has been said and what that person wants between us, I just avoid mentioning most personal things I learn about them.

In short, I'm willing to give DU the benefit of the doubt regarding this because it can be an easy mistake to make, but it doesn't change the fact that it is a mistake and one that he has to own up to and never repeat.

 

If the screenshot is true it seems obvious he threatened DU or was at least acting like a fucking moronic poser. It's not as if DU just randomly put out his personal information. Not sure what the shit storm is about.

 

FWIW alkeides revealed his own name posting lifting videos on the shoutbox/gd and yuri only used his name in response to alkeides threatening to cut his head off and dribble it like a basketball, so fuck your untruths.

 

C'mon lawyerman, you realize DU is the proprietor of a business and he leaked customer data. The rest is irrelevant.
