I Am Alive, neat little post-apocalyptic survival action game from Ubisoft.

Originally developed by Darkworks (devs behind Alone in the Dark 4 and Cold Fear), IAA was cancelled, only to be later remade into a completely different game and buried as a digital-only bargain bin release with zero promotion. Unlike The Last of Us, this game is mostly gameplay-focused. Features Tomb raider-like climbing with strict stamina management (once your stamina runs out the game will start depleting your stamina's maximum capacity, you can rest mid-climb by using climbing spikes or by drinking soda/water) and rather interesting combat system (there is barely any ammo in the game, so most of the time you must trick your enemies - you can use your empty gun for bluffing, you can kick your enemies down pitfalls, pretend to be unthreatening before surprise-stabbing closest thug with a machete, etc).

Sadly, Japanese-only. The fan patch has a great translation of the interface, but the dialog is pure google translator rubbish. Still, perfectly playable and really good so far.

Modernized version of 'Valravn' class corvette of my design after narrowly winning a scuffle with a rather worthy opponent (split into two parts framed by tactical overlay and receding in the distance), shooting down last remaining enemy missiles with rapid firing railguns (some 30km out and closing in fast, about 11s to impact/nuclear splash), failing that they might still get intercepted by my own nukes, but they are already uncomfortably close, despite their low-yield warheads.

The TakeOver

Nice brawler for those who liked Streets of Rage and Final Fight. One of the tracks for the soundtrack was made by Yuzo Koshiro who made original music for SoR. I finished it three times, and it's not a short game compared to arcade titles. There is a couple of mini-games as well to make it more varied for the player.
