Sounds like J.E. Sawyer got housed.

I hope FO3 is like FO1 though as far as setting/atmosphere. I can't stand some of the shit that appears in FO2. There wasn't a bad moment in FO1, except maybe doing Necropolis during the day. It just ain't the same. Ditto for that Cathedral.

Better than most other games in that it was actually fun. Not a chore like so many others.

Don't say nuthin! Combat in the Fo's was aayt, for the kinda game it is (God of Details) I don't think anythin less than busting a cap directly between the muthafuckas eyes and still havin enough action points to hide behind a corner is a insult for the game! How the F are you gonna do the kinda surgical damage in real time? No how! The combat better be the same in FO3 or it's gonna be a big step away from the original idea...

    Get Housed!

Anyways, because I was playing a lazy slut of a vault dweller, muties killed Set and company before I even got to Necropolis. Totally fucked things up there and totally pissed me off that son of a bitch. So I turned the Masters plan into shit infront of Morpheus's face. He teleported without error back to his penthouse suit what a dumbfuck. Nuke blows up. I also did a bunch of other loony shit. Power glove hits like a mack truck.

    Same shit here.
Only on second walkthru i did everything right.
Prolly after FO2 I just got used to the "ain't no timelimit, don't give a shit" manner.

Speaking of which, wasn't there a overall time limit in Fallout 1 where if you take too long the muties eventually find the vault just by actively searching for it? Heard they scraped it in the patch, but I thought that was pretty cool.

I recommend killing The Master before talking to Set if you want to be buddies. I ran through the game again at ludicrous speed.

    NEver heard of that.
And my game was not patched, as far as I can tell.
Maybe it was in pre-release version?
Anyway, it'd be cool if they actually pulled it off.

Also if I heard correctly, each town would fall to the mutants just like Necropolis. Correct me if I'm wrong but that would better explain why the Children of the Apocalypse and The Hub get destroyed by the advancing mutant army in the ending videos if a certain number of days pass before completing the game.

I've also heard this, but I've never seen it happen. I haven't played too many unpatched games, though.

The later copies (one of which I have) include the patch by default. I've never tried the unpatched version.
