    <p>WWII sub sim <a href="http://silenthunter4.uk.ubi.com/" target="_blank" title="SH4">Silent Hunter 4</a> has gone gold and should ship out March 22nd in <a href="http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=75965" target="_blank">three versions</a>, each more expensive than the last. IGN AU marked this special moment by posting their <a href="http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/770/770548p1.html" target="_blank" title="preview">hands-on preview</a>.</p><blockquote><p>The missions have already been given a much needed shot of variety. In the last game, there were only a couple of mission types. This time you'll be taking happy snaps of secret enemy installations and formations, rescuing downed airmen (you'll even see the planes get shot down, and have to scout the area for the crew) and dropping off special forces in places they really shouldn't be. It all adds up to a more diverse experience - but at its core it's still mainly about making things that float, sink.
