Ye, but I still find him clunky. And its just one of his skills. Annie got same range, but she gets in the face when doing her combo so I didnt find her lacking. Maybe I'll play a game or two more with him, it would be a waste of 6300 ip otherwise. Id rather play that horsie right now, but need 4k. Thats a shitload of games.

Oh, just saw that screenshot. You dont mess with that Sona. Mystary plays her on pro level. And mr trout needs to learn to play Blitz.
Panth troll build and Olaf still lost.

    wut

We played against the most AD-heavy team I've played against in a long time. On top of this, Ryze was absolutely no threat, thanks to him getting spanked early and my Shield. I got fed on top of this so had plenty of damage and room for the frozen heart. There's nothing wrong with my build.

My Kill Death Ratio is pretty impressing considering how the game went.

    I REGRET NOTHING

This is not true. Sivir was two cs ahead of me almost the entire laning phase, while we were up one kill on route.

Yep, I'd say that we held more than held our own bot until Pantheon started to come to gank and later when we started derping in teamfights. Hell, even after getting killed stomped all those time in teamfights I only ended 8 CS behind. Biggest problem was getting counterpicked from the start and that our jungler wasn't on Skype for the most portion of the game, leaving to bad communication. Also, I stand by my opinion that Gangplank doesn't make for the best jungler despite GLOBAL PRESENCE!

EDIT: Just want to clarify that I'm not trying to pass the blame, I did my fair share of derping in the game. It just came after the laning phase.

Since the EUW peepz don't give a shit about ranked 5v5, our prestigious Kodex Kool Krew [KKKrew] is in danger of being flagged as inactive soon. Just in case, I have reserved the slightly less prestigious Kodexian Kürwa Krusaders [KÜRWA] for us.

Goddamn slavic special treatment. KURWA got snagged by the profanity filter, but several common danish, norweigan, finnish and even a couple of french swearwords did not.

Also, what's up with that polish soraka in that ss? Why the second philostone after Shurelias? wouldn't HoG have been better for her, since philo wouldn't build into anything useful for her? It's not like healgoat needs tenacity.

Whole game was in troll mode. But in my favor thankfully.
Its kind of sad when you see people like that Ren trying and playing their best and are let down by retards on their team.
He cant win alone and is let down by Noc and Soraka. And theres nothing he can do about it.

Well nothing in the final SS looks paticularly trollish. Just... suboptimal. (Soraka getting a weird second gold/5 item. Her gold after a 32 min game indicating that she isn't sporting gold/5 runes or masteries so she probably didn't ward much. Teemo in bot lane going AP instead of AD is a bit weird, but Teemos gonna tee. Rammus/renek getting some armor is fine seeing as you guys wer emostly AD. It's only really nocturne that seems to be about as useful as a paperweight).

    [edit]

    Wait... Laning nocturne. O_o
Well, it explains the AP teemo but laning noc. WTF?

Janna was dead four times by the end of the laning phase by my count - 2 from derp fights around dragons. 8 by the end of the game. I'm not passing blame around neither though - we lost the game to three team-fights, two of which we all had responsibility for and one of which David has taken the blame for (as he should, derp).

    Player: Qunsk

His win-rate with Gangplank is quite convincing, which was why I thought it would be a good idea. And indeed, he caught herostratus twice. That he threw the game had nothing to do with the plank, could've done that with any champ.

Although I get a rep in this thread for having blinders on regarding the meta, this is almost solely because I call out some people on their retardation and instead of arguing points with me they shout "lol only follow what pros say fotm-slave sheep". I believe Gangplank is a very strong choice at our ELO, but more importantly I think what's important at our ELO is how well people play champs. Qunsk's Gangplank is much better than his Lee Sin for example, and in a battle with noobs like us that's going to matter 5000000 times as much as the strength of the champion :)

Thats the thing. Noc laned vs me(Grag) mid. He was 0-3 before he got his ult. Rammus picked before him and he got pissed and still went with his pick.
Reminds me of a game 2 days ago when I picked Grag and top picked Lee and their mid still picked Akali. Its like breaking yourself a leg and trying to run a marathon.

    1435 now
Cant stop me. Almost lost a lane vs Ahri.Till our Cho came and eat her. But otherwise not many can lane and win vs Grag. Kass and Morg come to mind but theyre always banned.

Problem with GP jungle is that he is so slow. And the ganks are mediocre, and he doesn't scale all that well either. If I want a jungler that just stays in the jungle I could go WW, who has better ganks and stronger lategame.

I recently got my internet issues worked out. (that complaint I usually made on skype about my neighbour downloading donkey porn turned out to be true. ISP capped his download speed to 100k since we're all on a shared switch. Helped immensely). I immediately followed celebrating my low ping with a 14-win streak in ranked.

    1) GP ganks much better before 6. Like, much, much better. Early ganks are meta, didn't you know? :P

    2) As I said, in the context of this game it matters more how well people play champs than how good the champs are, unless we're talking severely underpowered champs. Qunsk plays a very, very good plank.

    3) The great thing about GP is that he's pretty good through all phases of the game.

GP might not be a top tier jungler, but the minor differences in power doesn't matter that much in our level. And he did beat you pretty hard early game even though you were playing Lee Sin (basically his counter) ;)

Irelia rushing Guardian Angel was probably the most lulzy thing about that game though. Fun game, but my CS was bad. Then again, I focused more on securing map control, buffs and kills and such.

People just don't know why his Roger is so Jolly. :bro:

Gangplank is in a good place. A player who is proficient with him can do well both in jungle and in lane. Is he top tier? No. But top tier anything usually just means part of its kit is hideously broken at the moment. Unless you're 2k+ GRUNKERs chances are someone who's good at a tier 2-3 champion will consistently outperform someone who's merely average with a tier 1.
