Either it's just that he's new and people are crap with him, or Rengar's numbers are simply bad, because the ones I've faced so far have appeared very underwhelming and terribly slow in the jungle. Diana on the other hand, is p. damn fun, especially mid.

Yeah, haven't had a safer Nautilus jungle in a long time than against that guy, save for Jax snooping around my jungle. Doesn't seem anything special, not very disruptive in team fights and not a superb ganker so what's the point? Doesn't need blue though, I always like that so maybe I'll try him out.

BTW did the most damage in either of our teams with Nautilus, full tankmode with Frozen Heart and all that. Does that mean the damage grid actually counts jungle creeps as well?

Yes it does, that's why junglers usually are at or near the top of Damage Dealt table.

Didn't realize how good I was at dodging Diana's arc shot until I played as her.I thought it was hard to hit based on how little people connect, but nope thing is easy as shit.

This game really needs a better system for dealing with leavers. It's fucking pissing me off, 20 minutes wasted because some faggot threw a hissy fit.

Not sure how to do it though, beyond punishing the habitual leavers harsher.

After somebody has left for some time, say 4 min, let everyone else leave for free. Or something. Punishing the leavers more would also be good, it couldn't be this popular if the punishments were harsh.

I think a 24 hour ban would work. That way they couldn't just jump into a game half an hour later

Not sure about either of those... Letting other players leave for free opens up some issues as well. Do the enemies get a free win then or what? What if the guy who left only had his router/computer crash and was on his way to reconnect. I think something like Loss Forgiven for games where there is one or more leaver so you don't lose Elo because of that, but I'm sure there are ways to abuse that too... Not everyone who leaves does it because they are jerks so an automatic 24 hour ban is a bit harsh. In the end, it's just a game and (some) people have a life outside of it that (in theory) takes precedence. A leave once in a blue moon isn't really a problem.

I like the system dota 2 uses. If you abandon a game, you end up in the low priority queue of matchmaking for a while, which is basically a special pool with other leavers, flamers, etc. It's like tasting your own medicine. Also, if somebody leaves but doesn't return in 5 minutes everyone is free to leave with no penalty.

This works in theory - until you relalise that, at least for Ranked, everyone would be flaming in each other to leave so everyone gets away scott free.

I played Garen today. Just for the kick - last game had been hell, so I wanted to let my hair down with a non-viable champion who I really enjoy playing. The problem of first picking Garen is, of course, that you get counterpicked - and when I saw the other team pick up Kennen I thought "Oh fuck".

I was right. Garen can't catch that little rat due to his Lightning Rush, and the nerf to his Q means you won't silence him long enough to finish him off in one combo if you do decide to flash onto him. But, well, rats - having inferior brains - having a tendency to Lightning Rush when he thought I wasn't in lane. When, in fact, I was doing what all good Garen's do...

Lurk in the brush for 5 minutes without moving :smug:

Not the leaver, he'd still lose something, perhaps double normal ELO, so who would leave then, just ignore everybody. Something should be done because there's leavers like every three games or more.

Hah! Nothing is funnier than a squishy facecheking bush - AA, Q, spin2win, execute OMG NEW GAREN OP

In other news, fuck the cowards. With Malphite, Taric and Udyr in team... Just retreat, retreat, retreat until I blow a fuse and flash in as Karthus. Then when their ADC is dead and everybody else low health, still retreat retreat... FFFFF

Ye got 100 ranked wins with Blitz.63 losses. OP support, last game 3-0-16 kicked so much ass. For some reason I started building Sunfire cape on him after Aegis and it worked out pretty damn well. Tanky but on fire so people stay away from you.

In another news Taric OP. Started playing him here and there, even got the skin for him. Hardly lose a game with him, last game I laned with a Vayne with a clue while our mid and top fed. But we managed to pull out and win the game by warding and catching em farming jungle and out of position. Won inspite them having +15 kills on the scoreboard.
    Felt real good.

Except most people who "leave" don't leave, they just go AFK - whining, moaning and spamming surrender votes. They don't have the balls to leave proper.

What made it even better was when their queer AD carry, Ezrael, tried to Arcane Shift over his base wall - only to be silenced, decimated, and when he managed to escape with no health at all - Skarner ulted me into tower range, still spinning, to finish off Ez. Felt good man - hard counter to the scorpion.

Hey Undead Phoenix, give us some advice on how to improve. I float around silver and deserve it, but hate not improving, so any tips are appreciated.

Be very critical of yourself and your own mistakes. Get double killed bot lane on blue side because their mid laner went through your jungle and tribrush? Your own fault - so next game try to stay aware of the state of the other lanes to gain the Zen like ability to *know* where people are on the map without vision from wards and missing calls from teammates.

    Just an example.

Watching Gman Bob getting trolled by matchmaker. Tuned in just as he lost a game with somebro called Stejos raging all over team chat. He started up a new game, got on team with the same dude. Went "fuck this", dodged and played a smurf for 1½ hours while I was cooking and checking in occasionally. Went back to his main, queued up, BAM, Stejos on his team again ^^

    [edit]
1½ mins in, the Stejos guy is playing jungle rengar and bitching about Lulu not using her only ward to ward his wraiths. Good stuff

UD's advice is sound Jasede. You get a troll on you team? Your bot is feeding like fuck? Well, boo-hoo. What did YOU do wrong? That's the only element you control. Solo queue ELO is not under your control, but if you want to improve your game, do not focus at all on your team's faults. Focus on yours, and work with them. You make tons of mistakes no matter which ELO you're on, and raging about your team's flaws is the surest way to neglect working on your own.

I try that but when I critically look at myself the fact is: I ain't that good.

    Last hitting? D-
    Map Awareness B+
    Warding & Counterwarding B
    Plays D-
    Team Spirit C-

Improving seems to take me forever. Feels bad you guys get to plat so fast when it takes me forever just to get to silver, lol.

    Massive Abyssal nerf coming in.

Also Morello needs to find some synonyms for "a little bit" and "too [...]".

Abyssal Scepter will now mainly be for mages that like to get up close and personal with their targets. I honestly didn't know that the radius was as big as it is now. Also, I think it was FeralPony, not Morello who did the talking this time.

EDIT: Jasede, not aware of any Codexers with Platinum, just a few with Gold.
