So, anyone playing League of Legends?

I had to try adc Jayce today, because of course I'm bot no matter what, but anyway it was a great success, taric jayce vs. graves blitz. Seems like a decent bully, when you get some damage items your Q/E shot deals massive damage from far away, also you're pretty safe against a lot of things because of your mobility. Good pusher too, lots of aoe and destroys turrets fast. And when you're confused, just spam skills and somebody's likely to die.

I think Jayce's gonna be one of my mains especially since his gameplay is so fun.

 

There's a million bucks at stake, plus whatever ramen noodle contract the winners can look forward too, of course they're gonna cheat if the chance arises. Piss poor planning by Riot.

 

Yeah what the fuck is up with that, the teams should be in separate closed spaces. But whatever. Too little gameplay, too much boring assholes talking.

Also another thing I have been thinking, isn't Cho'Gath jungle just really fucking good? His clears and objective control are excellent (I mean, here's your 2000 true damage, did I get the Baron?), itemization is flexible, ganks are decent with and against some champions and his teamfight utility is very hign, if the silence hits a few people it's so long it's GG. And that sustain is just something.

He's kinda like a really safe Nautilus that doesn't have as good ganks. I'm thinking, why not just play him in soloQQ where you can't expect people to ever help you in jungle? Nautilus has this problem where somebody just runs in - not even necessarily the jungler but some lane - and kills you, and you can be sure the lanes will just stubbornly stick to farming and never come help you. But Cho isn't as weak and he doesn't have to stick around in the jungle as long anyway.

Am I wrong? I'm gonna try maining him in jungle, see what happens. Ofc. I still wouldn't pick him against Lee Sin or something like that.

Back when I played I had a brief fling with jungle cho. He's quite good at maintaining control of objectives due to effectively having double smite. He can also do a vareity of paths and doesn't get dangerously low on hp after level 3. His main problem from a solo-queue standpoint is that his ganks are tricky to land. He has no inherent gapclosers and rupture is easily avoided if the lane pays attention. He gets better if your lane can supply a 1sec stun for your rupture to combo off of. But expect a lot of puggers raging at you when rupture inevitably misses.

 

With the right team comp, jungle Cho is incredibly strong and like you say he has quite flexible build paths. Good counterjungler after 6 too since you can just waltz into the opposing jungle and munch on the buff.

 

Man, I haven't had results this solid with any other jungler except Skarner. Got Lee Sin vs. me, got invaded and blue stolen, whatever, I'm still not going to die and just silence and knockup your silly asses. Of course it would be nice if people wouldn't pick Garen top to go with, but meh.

Here's another thing I am doing, boots of mobility on any less mobile junglers such as Nautilus, Amumu, Cho'Gath. I don't care for the small boost I get from other boots, I want to be able to gank faster. It seems pretty good along with the move speed quints, I can get to situations I couldn't otherwise. Since time is always of the essence, why get mercs or whatever on them?

 

You could sell boots of mobility for mercs later when you need the tenacity more I guess. Depends if you can get the extra gold from ganks just because of the added speed.

Dunno, maybe? At this elo the jungle meta is shitty assassins like khafix and xing xong farming the jungle. Kill those wolves, before they go away, don't pay attention to anything, just as long as you get those fabulous wolf pelts.

Here's my new opinion on Viktor : he fucking sucks, because his animations are so slow everybody kills you before your short range crap skills activate and if you use them you can't run away because that cancels all of them. Basically he can't move at all. I'm just gonna play Veigar or something with whom at least your skills don't take the whole day to use.

 

I suppose he does if you build roa, grail and glacial shroud on him.

Running cancels the lazer? That's new.

 

Because my items affect his gameplay so much. That's another thing about him, his cooldowns are long and because one item slot is taken it's hard to get any cdr or defences on him. And usually you'd need void staff, that game nobody had any MR at all though so I didn't get that.

Running cancels the laser before it fires, well it's fucking clunky anyway, just try to do a full skill rotation and something always doesn't fire, often times the laser. Just that you have to stand perfectly still to do your stuff... Eh.

 

One day I'll get Viktor, he was a really fun champion when I played him. Too bad I'll need 20k IP for a runepage just for him.

The bugged laser is really to your advantage, though the laser is invisible, it's still there. You can run all the time and poke like crazy.

No, the death ray is a completely free move. It fires instantly with no charge up, there's no casting animation and it doesn't stop you when running, neither does running stop you from using it.

Not always, sometimes the beam refuses to collide with its target as well, even when it's visible

Finally, working night shifts has paid off!
