    * don't buy tier 2 runes
    * practice last hitting - farming is the second most important part of the game
    * don't dive under enemy tower before level 6 (and think it over 3 times before diving after level 6)
    * don't pay much attention to "flavor of the month" champs - stick to the ones you find fun to play

Another tip: Don't listen to brazilians, russians, swedes, danes, potatos or spaniards. Which server are you playing at?

Anyways, http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki is for all your stat checking needs. The following articles ought to be read:

    http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Attack_speed

    http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Armor

With the most relevant part being

"Every point of armor requires a unit to take 1% more of its maximum health in physical damage to be killed. This is called effective health."

The above has the implication that a higher HP makes armor higher in value since 1% of high hp is more than 1% of low hp. It also has the implication that higher armor makes HP more worth. Hence: The optimal solution for effective HP is a mix of armor/mres and hp. Don't do like most noobs do and just stack warmogs. Also, this means that if your champ has a HP steroid, you want to focus more on armor and vica versa.

Heimerdinger is easy and fun mid character that I win with 80% of the time when playing with lower level friends on blind pick matches (and I am too tired to play anything more demanding). Focus rockets and turrets, always look for possibility landing a rocket on someone's face. I use this guide http://www.lolking.net/guides/347

I followed my Impulse Shopper™ urges and bought the bundle, because "Need a new support, why not Zoidberg?". :M

Seems like a fairly cool champ, though my first game with him was horrible due to a leaver that raged because he didn't get to try Thresh. Oh well.

My first buy Spellcaster was Zilean too for the same reasons, he looked fun. Unfortunately I sucked with him so badly and never really got to learn him. He's not very easy to play with for a noob, not at all, but apparently he's very strong and you can make him work.

First you want to use him at mid, as a support he's worse. Then the way you play him is as a lane bully. He has a big auto attack range and a big cast range for his bombs. You're gonna have to play one of the toughest champions to last hit with, kill minions only with auto attacks and save your mana for harassing the enemy with bombs. If they ever come close to you, hit them with a bomb and an auto attack. You also don't want them to push the wave because you suck under tower so bully them hard that they don't even get close to the minions. Don't use rewind early, too much mana, unless going for the kill. Eventually you'll want enough gold from farming on him that you get plenty of mana and ap items. He only has 1 damaging ability but good ap ratios on it, so when he's fed he's powerful but if he's not he's kinda bad. And of course, you want good reaction time to use your ult to save teammates. He's very strong in the mid game.

First Nami, now Thresh. As a support main I'm really happy with all these high-skill high-reward support champions. If I only ever get to support then I'd at least like challenging ones. Now with Leona, Thresh, Janna and Nami there's one for almost every occasion. I'm really happy! I don't have the IP to buy him yet, though, but can't wait to try him out. His potential is incredible.

Though I mained Soraka last season and maintained a 60%+ winrate with her in 170 games, which isn't shabby, but not great either. Soraka is not nearly as bad as you'd think. Unfortunately she's not really good, either. She is just an amplifier, making a team better- she won't help with bad teams, like Leona or Nami or especially Janna can.

I bought Thresh and he's kinda awkward. He's tanky, has great poke, can save asses with his lantern, but his pull (Q) is really hard to land because he needs to stop and spin his scythe before throwing it, which gives plenty of time to dodge it. His E and ult are meh. Soul collecting thingy is pure gimmick. Overall quite fun, but I was hoping for something better.

I find that playing support is pure torture, I just don't know what's going to happen, they both have 75% health to our 100, levels are equal (4), they are pretty separated while we are close so I do my tresh combo which means we both die and neither of them do because what the fuck just happened, why is bot lane impossible to get any fights done in a predictable fashion?

Anyway I think Tresh is pretty cool but I keep shouting "click the fucking lantern morons" to myself.

You can't honestly expect people to know how to interact with him properly on the same friggin day he's released.

Also, Darth Roxor's another jolly day at lol.

ADfags get a whole set of items that make armour obsolete.

    What do APs get? Nothing.

ADfags get a %hp damage item to counteract the armour obsolescence-induced hp bloat, as well as %hp skills up the arse.

What do APs get? Yup, worthless shit of a mask and a nerfed DFG.

ADFAGS GET FUCKING ZEPHYR FOR TENACITY AND FUCKING MERC SCIMITAR FOR QSS UPGRADE.

WHAT DO AP CARRIES GET??? THAT'S FUCKING RIGHT, NOTHING.

    NOTHING

Roxor demonstrating his famed selective potato memory. AP Carries used to have all the toys while AD champs had nothing. Hence why AD got more than AP in S3.

This is very sound logic, you should work at riot. 'Champ class A has more stuff than class B - LET'S INVALIDATE CLASS A, PERFECT BALANCE 10/10 THANK YOU MORELLO"

Not to mention 'aps had everything and ads had nothing' is a blatant lie. Bruisers had plenty of build options, the only ones that were limited were the ad carries, and hohoho, guess what, even with all those new ad items they are still building the exact same fucking things as in s2.

Or are you gonna tell me that ap carries had 'so many build paths!!!!" 'cause they could stack mana, just like one genius said at a RoG article once?
