Vayne, Trist, Ashe and Kog are the lategame hypercarries. If the game stretches past the 45-minute mark, the other ADCs simply can't compare. Vayne in paticular is terrifying in the current warmogs meta. %max health true damage, more mobile than kog'maw, tricky to pin down in a teamfight due to chain-stealthing in ult+tumble and comes with (conditional) hard CC in an non-ultimate skill.

Apparently I own two of the above and I am well aware of what they can do when fed as got I got pentakills with all 3 (twitch, kog, vayne) and somehow most of them with twitch, but that's just anecdotal evidence so let's ignore it and get to the point. Apparently you do not understand what I am saying. Twitch can potentially win a team fight faster than any other fed adc. The window of opportunity to kill him before he murders your team is small because he can damage the entire team or most of it. Compare that to vayne, kog and trist who have to kill everyone one by one. The other ones with major AoE damage (graves, corki, mf) simply aren't as good at full builds. Hell, I don't remember which pro said it (probably saintvicious) but he basically stated that while both vayne and twitch are late game monsters (compared to other carries) twitch is simply better because he has his ult+expunge. His laning is garbage though.

Also calling a carry snowballing is redundant, it wouldn't be a carry if it couldn't snowball. Some have better scaling sure, but they can all snowball.

 

While twitch can hypothetically win a team fight faster than any other ADC, it assumes noone on the other team go for him and they all line up neatly so spray & pray hits everyone. In practice however, Vayne, Trist, Kog et al are far more likely to win the teamfight because they are less reliant on the enemy team lining up for them and have abilities that give them a chance of surviving an enemy blinking/dashing onto them long enough for their tanks to react. Dead carries do 0 dps. Unless they're teemo.

 

That's true, which is one of the reasons twitch isn't played much. He can't kite as the current most picked adcs as his basic range is short, his base movespeed is low and he doesn't have reliable escapes to make up for it. Even Kog's E is a better escape when your try to kite bruisers. These are also the problems that make his laning so bad. The top adc picks now are simply more reliable, they are less likely to lose their lane and more likely to win teamfights even if they don't have the rat's potential for pure teamfight rape.

Also you forgot koggles can do damage when dead, I once got a quadra thanks to that passive (would have been just a triple without it)

 

So can cait, karthus, nidalee, shaco etc. It's just Teemo is the post-mortem kills that make you rage the hardest

 

I don't know about that, getting grabbed by blitz as karthus thus initiating a tf and then scoring a triple while dead can make the enemy rage even harder. Especially when they're dumb and just keep fighting inside your lawnmower of death while you spam Q.

 

Can some of you recommend a good duo adc/support combination? Like Sona + MF?

I'm interested in all supports.

 

Ashe + Soraka. The murderduo that pwns all games, no exceptions.

 

Graves + Leona/Blitz/Taric/Thresh/or anything else

 

Varus+Zyra, Draven+Thresh, Kog+Nunu, Sona + everyone.

 

Ezreal + any support. That fucker works well with anyone. Get him Sona or Lulu and you have great poke lane. Taric, Leona, Blitz or Thresh - kill lane. You can take Soraka, who is fucking useless for anything than being walking battery and win, because no one will push you out of lane so you can farm 24/7.

 

Taric + anyone else. At least until his remake.
Janna + MF or Ez. Especially if Janna is good at shielding immediately before the ADC does Q pokes. Shield + 100% crit passive ashe arrow can also be a terrifying way to start a lane.
Leona + corki/ez/graves/vayne. Mobile, bursty ADCs make the most of her initiation.
Sona + Ez/Mf/Cait -- Poke forevar

You're saying that Twitch has weak laning and no escapes, but apart from that he's super-fucking-awesome.
What I am saying is that with Twitch you need to be sure you can get early lead and quickly carry your team to victory, because otherwise he's mediocre at best.

Cait + Lulu is godlike poke lane. Those 2 girls go together like bread and butter.
Sivir + Soraka or Corki + Soraka is good pushing lane because of endless boomerang/phosphorus bomb spam.

If you want to have fun and not care too much about winning the game, you're playing against opponents that likes to facecheck bushes and believe that buying wards is for wussies: try Garen + Teemo bot.
Or the most hilarious lane ever - Blitzcrank + Shaco, where your goal is to pull enemies into JitB nests.

The ADC magic continues - enemy team 5 mid or feed, so smiteless ap yi jungle or something to that effect, Karthus Lux bot, Karthus buys 5 boots. What a fucking waste of time.

Dammit how can I play Lux when everyone is picking her? Is she suddenly FOTM?

 

Crazy Koreans played her a bit + Shushei and Froggen play her a lot when they stream and during tournament games. Oh, and she's also awesome.

 

Not to mention her /laugh is god tier. Second only to Lulu

Taric's dirty homosexual dad laugh is better when you have stun raped someone, someone like Ezreal. Then you type "come here little boy"... Heh.

 

The ultimate "you gonna get raped now!" /laugh is Skarner. Charge out of a bush with shurelias to drag a squishy to their death... "MUAHAHAHAHAHAAA HAHAHAHAAAAAA NOW I'VE GOT YOU!"

 

I'm seeing a lot of Lux support too. I never play her, I'd rather stick to the classics but she's ok if played well.

Someday I will convince my friends to play AD Carry mid and Lux/Lulu bot. Enemies won't get out of laning phase sane.

 

Lux support is pretty great with poke/burst adcs that are strong on their own and don't need Lux to babysit them. Ezreal, Caitlyn, Draven and surprisingly Varus all seem great with Lux. She has a tendency to steal kill though, and is hard to categorize. I'm not sure we see her at higher elos.

 

I tried Lux support just now, dealt second most damage in team after Singed, ofc. I had a trollish Mpen build with no aegis or anything team-oriented because I was so tired of playing support. She's pretty fun. Think you're gonna warp away teenage boy? Better work on them dodging skills because now you're snared and here comes a face full of laser. IDK if she's a really good support but our cait/lux lane completely owned their leona/ezreal, it's like they couldn't even do anything. Kinda like playing Lulu actually, just more troll. Definitely gonna play this champion more, I find I like her gameplay a lot more than even Xerath or Viktor.
