So, anyone playing League of Legends?

That game was barely won, their janna dc'd (and she kept messing up our engagements with her ult) and our rengar was the only idiot on our team but his stupidity was enough for them to catch up by mid game despite our successful invasion and my godly gank bot, jungle invasion interventions and other stuff. Because he's playing an assassin it is obvious his job is to waste skills and damage on Singed not MF. The fact people kept coming mid and taking my farm didn't help.

Hecarim has quickly become my favorite jungler. Strong and so much fun to play as well. Good job Mystary!

 

Best feeling with Quinn : enemy Draven types in all chat "WTF DAMAGE?". Also Soraka + Quinn lane, doomed to die to Draven Taric, but sometimes those Doran swords and red pot really pay off.

 

Skarner is still my fav in jungle these days of all the beasts, i like Warwick too but he doesnt fit with all teamcomps. Troll is also cool just for the fact that noone plays him anymore. I tried Hecarim one game but didnt really click with me, when watching Mystary play him hes pretty good and I wonder where does all the damage comes from. Cant replicate that kind of burst.

And how about that Singed at IEM? That Shy is really something. Even Dyrus is trying to copy his build and playstyle, lolo.

 

Skarner is not just my most played jungler, but also my most played champ. I don't like him as much in S3 though. It was awesome throwing a fuckton of armor items on him in S2, most of which synergized completely with his abilities and stats. It's all health builds now and e very is so much faster, so armored car Skarner is no longer as much of a thing. Now it's all about great initiates.

 

Morgana is so hilariously broken, I am surprised they haven't labeled her kit as toxic after all this time. The game starts with a fuck up as voli+morde try diving cho at lvl 2 during a gank. We're losing about 2-10 with our voli being plain dumb (hey I'll build hp, defensive stats and even get a giants belt, but why should I build boots on a jungler by 16 minutes?). Enemy akali gets somewhat fed, in particular because we tried getting rammus out of our jungle when I was oom. After a while teamfights happen and they lose everyone because morgana's shield fucks up ramus' and cho's CC attempts, I land every snare and the ult murders akali and everyone else engaged in the cluster fuck. I die maybe voli dies but morde+graves clean up and get fed. Rinse and repeat.

Morg isn't broken. She's just the bestest AP facemelter that ever lived and we love her!

 

Her kit is too stronk and her laning is too stronk. Only problem is you need to land snares. It's still easy mode as she can lane against anybody but a proper bruiser or adc.

Either way a new qualification series has started for me...

...and somebody picks urgot for our adc. But there is hope! Enemy team has ez and quinn which means ez mid.

 

Someone mentioned getting counterpicked by Tristana only to see a shitty ADC actually lane against them. Hell the other day I got countered as Draven by Kog "oh noooo"

Nevermind. Ashe is their ADC. Commence bashing faces with axes relentlessly from level 1. I also laugh that someone had an ASpeed only Twitch recently. It seems this AS only trend is spreading. Idiots everywhere FFS.

 

Morg mid -> 24 mins in: sorc shoes, dorans ring, zhonyas hourglass, wizard hat, mejai with 17 stax.
Once I passed 750 AP, I grabbed lichbane 'cause why the fuck not?

Managed 2 triple kills in dragon fights. And their jungle was awful so I could push mid all day. Pretty much ideal situation for Morg.

 

Great, last qualifier game. Last one was lost despite it being won initially. Why? Our jungle vi keeps ulting soraka "because she was alone", no matter that their annie and jayce (adc jayce, which I got fed off as mf in lane but annie managed to carry even his sorry ass) are the ones doing the damage. Of course our mid was clueless kha'zix because hurr durr league of assassins. Fuck getting CC, its all about kills. He did jack shit as expected.

Now I got queued with some second pick retard who got butthurd akali got banned so he picked cleanse/revive yi and said he'll afk. Luckily somebody else dodged. This game needs a fucking kick option in the lobby.

 

Yeah... Last game... First pick Ezreal, goes bot with Sona. Starts instantly shouting orders at Sona and gets real. fucking. mad. when she doesn't "zone, ZONE ZONE HIM" all the time. I don't even know what the fuck that means. Well, he spouts inanities at chat pretty much all the time, then finally giving first blood, blaming Sona for it. Sona-bashing continues for the whole laning phase, after which he starts harassing the entire team when he dies. In the end he just ran towards enemy nexus suiciding.

In score screen our Noc goes "I report all my team because idiots".

I don't remember ever seeing that in one of my games, but WTF is that shit? What's the rationale behind this idea?

 

I somehow managed to win my last promotion match thus ending up in Silver III from Silver V. Great at least two more layers of tinfoil elo hell ahead.

Game was totally fucked up, our first pick picks cait. Ok cait is fairly safe but our third pick starts whining because he wanted adc. Why can't people fucking learn to deal with it if their roles are picked by earlier picks? Calling roles is rearded if you have no idea what gets banned/picked before your turn. Either way he bitches a lot and pick teemo to go top, I'm skeptical because on one hand sure, it's a renekton top so teemo works. On the other tinfoil elo teemos are not known for being good and I rather he pick someone like cho or singed who at least does something in teamfights. Oh and our last pick gets butthurt because the teemo goes top when he said he wants top. He has no support so he picks pantheon. He gives first blood when jarvan ganks.

Somehow despite that bot wins its lane and cait gets fed as fuck, probably because Sivir hasn't been all that great for months now. I didn't really gank bot successfully I think, just managed to force flash/summoners which was good but not great. Eventually the enemy taric ragequits after getting manhandled by Pantheon and Cait gets like 5 kills without dying even once. Rest of the team apart from renekton goes afk soon afterwards. Also their talon mid goes barely toe to toe with our kassadin. Cue the expected "OMG KASSA NOOB CHAMP" in all chat.

Does it ever get better?

Some guy first picks Kass, enemies pick Talon. I am already raging inside at that point.
Then Talon goes 0/6 and Kass carries for the win.

I've been on the other end, too, where our Talon was going to "counter" Kass, then somehow gives FB and snowballs into a trainwreck.

Happens when your MMR is higher than expected at the end of your promotion series.
A good way to estimate your MMR is the points you get for a win: the more points you get, the better your MMR. If you only gain few points and lose many, though, then your MMR is lower than average for the division you are in- and the system is trying to make you go down.

 

Yeh, I get ~30 per win and -10 per loss. Never skipped a layer tho.

And the skipping of divisions only happens really early, like when you have maybe 30 ranked games tops- from what I know, anyway.

I wish I could get my Great Leader ribbon back... people listened to my calls more. Teamwork just forces you to support.

 

Meh im sick of ranked again. I cant hold my lane so lets blame the jungler. AP Malph mid that cant play Malph. 66 AP at level 1, 85 AP at level 15. But its junglers fault.

Gonna troll normals for the whole next week.
