    I won't add an opinion since I'm not interested enough in Bloodlines to feel anything about Zack's humorous comments.

    Well, the prostitutes ARE some ugly wenches ... and I don´t mean their overall physical attractiveness, but the way they were modelled. Just - ugh.

    Yeah, how about that? I'd have to get my old 700 MHz computer to go way slower in order to run Syndicate Wars at a human speed, and I'm not that desperate yet. I think a new Syndicate game could be real fun if it contained a single city with randomized missions and no story to speak of.

    A Syndicate 2 (or a game like it) would be absolutely mind-blowing. I'd kill for that. Didn't like Syndicate? For shame, it's one of the best games ever made. Add a little storyline, some good physics and a truckload of research options and you're set.

    Black & White 2? Who gives a fuck.

    The Movies? Vaporware at this point.

    Fable 2? One was enough.

    If you think this article was just a 'joke', I'd suggest reevaluating your opinion. It was clearly meant to be humorous but Zack was absolutely correct in every single point he made.

    No lie there. SW: G sucks the big one, and World of Warcraft is just a rehash of an already boring style that Everquest invented.

    Same thing happened with Black and White. Molyneux is an overrated hack who makes games nobody even wants to see.

    Dead on.

    This game sucks, and what's scary is that all the other Japanese RPGs suck worse than this.

    Well, maybe not Nocturne, and I don't think Phantom Brave qualifies as an "RPG" in the JRPG sense.

    I also heard good things about Final Fantasy 7. Doesn't mean it was a good game.

    I liked the intro in Bloodlines.. THE FIRST TIME. After that, I discovered I couldn't hit SPACE or ESCAPE to bipass it, now I dread it. Then again, the intro worked flawlessly for me with the exception of the beheading deal.

    Most of the stuff Something Awful posted there hits the nail, but they don't make it sound as humorous as their other posts (probably because they are right).

    BL intro might feel boring after first time, but after 6 times it's driving you insane.
    It's not hard to edit out though, PlanetVamp has guides doing that.

    Baten Kaitos looks good, it's plot is written by Masato Kato, same guy who wrote Chronotrigger and Chronocross plots. The combat is handled with cards like Magic the Gathering, it might make or break the game.

    EDIT: Here's how to disable the star sequence. Thanks to Hellwolve and Mireneye.

    (Note the indentation is important in python)

    In the original theatre.py, look for these lines :
    Code:

    #EMBRACE: Assigns a player model to the player_understudy
    def castUnderstudy():

    now replace
    Code:

    def castUnderstudy():
    understudy = Find("player_understudy")
    pc = __main__.FindPlayer()

    with
    Code:

    def castUnderstudy():
    tutorialLoad()
    understudy = Find("player_understudy")
    pc = __main__.FindPlayer()

    and you're done.

    Just be thankful that 'professional" baords like BIO ban swearing. I'd be even more foulmouthed.

    I forgive the bugginess in BL more than I forgive it in SWKOTORII:TSL because I'll be fucked if it isn't more irritating to have to get up off your couch, turn off your secks bocks and then turn it back on then try to find a farking save game. Oh and as for KOTORII:TSL, would any of you fuckheads in charge at the Codex be interested in a one time only Killzig certified kiddie pool esque review of this piece of shit?
