Price?

In fact, I've been meaning to ask this for a while, what was up with Stasis's initial price of 25 usd/eur, how did you come up with that number and what made you feel it was reasonable at the time? I mean, you gotta admit 25 usd/eur is a bit pricey for any digitally distributed point & click adventure game these days, much less an indie one that's a bit rough around the edges, no? Was it actually the RIGHT price to sell the game at? Was it too small even?

I paid 19,99 for it through pre-ordering, even that made me feel a bit like, dunno, like it wasn't exactly a rational purchase.

Cayne will be free. :)

A big thing with price point on a Kickstater project is to make sure you have a release price that doesn't screw over people who backed your project! Price point is always a difficult thing to get right.

Ah, of course, it was Kickstarted! Forgot all about that. In that case, I get it. About not wanting to screw over the backers at least, which is commendable. Still think the release price was too high, but hey.

I prefer to think of it as a light hearted family story.

A small aside - our internal runs are about 3 - 3,5 hours - so it should be quite a chunky bit of game. We are trying out some things with a more open ended areas (less linear than Stasis), so itll be an interesting experiment!

That was pretty much my thought process for the entire games production. :D Glad you're enjoying it!

I'm surprised this game was so well received. A lot of minor stuff annoyed the hell out of me, the puzzles were rudimentary and the plot a dud. Eh.

I thought it was very odd how long the intro went on before giving you control. I thought the game was broken.
