Do we know what the various status effects do?

Sleep, obvious. Wakes upon hit.
Irritate: ?
Blindness: straightforward reduction to hit %?
Curse: seems to stop enemies from acting?
Insane: also seems to stop them acting?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Confusion: chance to hit allies; super good effect when fighting multiple enemies, they're going to slaughter each other instead of you.

Charm: doesn't attack you? Not sure, I used that in a few boss fights but I still got attacked while the pink charm effect glow was still around the enemy.

Afraid: chance to not act during a turn, I think, but not sure

Irritate's spell description mentions like an itch/red welts that can prevent monsters from doing anything except scratch/concern themselves with their skin.

Charm actually can make them hit their friends, just like Confuse.

You can get an accurate description of the status effects by looking at the spell descriptions that cause them.

Pretty sure you lose a turn due to Irritation/Nausea.
