Hi everyone! It's me, Fowchan! ♥

For those who don't already know - I'm the mascot for StudioFOW.

I am the Community Manager, secretary and office maid for the studio and I handle most of the community based stuff along with refilling the snack bowls and fridge at the office! (Super important, might I add! Someone has to keep perverts like Moneyshot fueled and ready!)

Now we get to the important stuff!

Thanks to the killer support of our fans - we have reached the final milestone...for now

This means we will be hiring additional animators to help with spicing up some of these story sequences in the game by creating awesome cinematics for them! We have a lot of awesome stuff that happens in the script that we'd love to see brought to life, and you've just helped make this happen! Hooray!

We'll finally be able to make the game we envisioned when we first started planning Subverse.

Now let's talk about this much asked for stretch goal!

The next stretch goal is none other than......ME!

That's right, if we hit £550K then yours truly will become the 10th waifu of Subverse. You can find me in a super secret endgame location (totally not Earth) and I'll terrorize the Prodigium galaxy alongside you! I'm not just any old waifu tho, I'll have my normal cute form as well a more fitting demonic form. And of course, you'll get a bunch of lewd scenes if you earn my loyalty.

We are SO FREAKIN EXCITED! Fow-Chan in UE4 has been a dream for a long time.

For some reason, I don't see anyone here sayng it backed it. Contrary to nearly every other kickstarter here.

I already backed far too much in the past, and find it hard to get a stiffy these days for Kickstarter released games as everything I backed was either shit, a tease, or lacked a happy ending. I'm tempted by this because it looks genuinely good, and looks like it'll stick its middle finger up at the industry, so probably worth it for that alone.
Dunno. I thnk they need to put a bit more effort into telling us what the game is about - I don't want to back something for any amount of money, and then find out the developers are a bunch of millenials that arn't gonna follow through with what they're apparently pitching.

Here’s the breakdown. StudioFOW produces three kinds of things.

1) Long videos that are really fucking good, like Kunoichi and Bioshag.
2) Short videos that are really fucking good, like Hunted and Agent of Chaos.
3) Flash shorts where you pick a position and speed... that are kind of shitty and much lower quality.

Subverse is using the director of Bioshag and Mila Red Riding Hood, which is promising. But the Kickstarter claims the erotic scenes are going to be like the flash shorts... which are historically much worse than their other content. I have no idea if having the Bioshag director means the flash shorts will be higher quality than the usual or not. I hope so. But I’m also wary.
