Climax's combat oriented RPG for the XBOX, Sudeki, has been confirmed for release on the PC, as reported by German magazine Yiya. According to the story, the German Ratings Board has given the PC edition of the game a USK 12 rating, and that the publisher of the PC edition is listed as ZOO Digital Publishing. It looks like more combat-oriented RPGs are headed our way.

The character gallery alone makes me think this game is crap. The whole teenage "Imperial Princess and Mage" stuff is down right lame.

Looks more like a bondage whore. How about a female PC which actually wears armour or looks believable sometime? Her fucking arse is hanging out of her "costume". I notice they focus an awful lot on the fact they have a skimpily dressed anime girl. Seems like you've got to make sure you get the rapist/pervert market too these days. They must have remembered the old "SEX SELLS" rule and decided to cram in as much innuendo as they can. The studio is even called "Climax", for fuck's sake. They'll probably make a Japanese rape simulator next.

I liked this article on the site:

"It’s a good time to be an RPG fan. Last year, the releases of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind® Game of the Year Edition and Star Wars®: Knights of the Old Republic™ gave loyalists plenty of quests to keep them busy through the dark days of winter. "

Looks like everyone here just imagined it when they complained about a lack of good games in recent years. You bunch of ungrateful whiners.

I'm only wondering why exactly does there need to be information about a character's blood type. It's the kind of thing ten year olds do when they're making up their dream game idea and there's got to be dozens of pages of info about a character and they will just type anything.

The Japanese have an obsession about such things. They have an strange society over in Nippon....

Back to the game. This was designed/created by a western company right? Right pile of shite by the sounds of it. Short as hell too (Which would be an relief for some)

Meh, it just sounds like something Climax came up with. Final Fantasy characters don't have blood types.

I remember at least one Japanese console game that took blood type into account and apparently it altered the way the game played out. Could be others too.

Well, briefly, in Japan, blood type holds the same significance that western cultures hold to astrological signs. The belief that one can form one's opnion of another based on whether they're a Leo or a Taurus and the like. Just switch blood types for birthdays.

And like modern signs, it's mostly followed by teen girls as they fawn over their idols.
"Oh, he's dreamy. And he's my compatable blood-type too!!LOL!" etc..

Although, it does have a more sinister, bigoted roots from Fuedal Japan. A way to decide who was superior and who was inferior.

And Rex, just because you don't see it in foriegn releases, don't doubt that FF characters have this stat. It's as vital a stat as how ridiculously huge one's sword is.

Oh, and to get back on topic:
"Sudeki?? More like SUCK-deki!! Ha"
Yeah, I thought of that all by myself

Thanks, at least that explains the significance. The hints about bigotry are somewhat distrubing though.

I've seen plenty of FF character profiles where they've listed blood type. Funny thing is, I learned about the signifigance of blood types from a hentai game I played a few years ago. :P
