During the same period, the publication rights relating to System Shock 3 were sold back to OtherSide Entertainment. The right to compensation for the development costs has been received from future revenue flows from the title.

At this point it's looking like Warren Spector will be the last man standing. Like Herve Cain who kept drudging on to keep Interplay going, he will finish Shock 3 all by himself, even if that means he needs to learn coding, modeling and animating himself.
