    Casting barkskin on an ally while the caster is invisible should not break invisibility! Summoning creatures via spells shouldn't break it either!

    Townsfolk are Oddly Selectively Racist
    Tolerant Townsfolk house rule is on. A charmed hill giant (by a summoned Lamia) brought from Temple3 into town (Nulb and Hommlet) caused all villagers to become hostile. A charmed bugbear minion and Oohlgrist are OK with the villagers. Wuh?

    Fixed for 1.0.30

    Salamanders are supposed to take 1.5x damage from Cold, not 2x. This may be a general bug in all TOEE Vulnerabilities.
    Indeed it was common for all Monster Subtype Fire monsters. Fixed for 1.0.30.

    Oohlgrist seems allied with the Water Temple. When I tried attacking the Juggernaut with him, I saw the message "Friendly Fire!" despite the temple attacking us first.

    Ahh I got it. It's not racially motivated, the Hill Giant is just flagged ONF_KOS. I'll see if I can suppress it if he's a party member.

    Edit: Yes, fixed it. The bug was actually caused because he was charmed by the Lamia, who was now missing.

    Note that properly, a Charm is not transitive; the Hill Giant's loyalty should have been to the Lamia, not the party, so when her summoning expired, it should have either left the party or gone hostile.

    One day I'll make Charm Person behave according to P&P rules, and the current behavior will be the only house rule that's on by default ;)

    Transparent NPCs, Hidden Alignment
    Transparent NPCs still doesn't reveal NPC companion alignments. For example, Burne's Lawful Goodness is not displayed in his inventory screen like a player character's alignment would be.

    I remember this working properly in vanilla, but it's been months since I played this game without temple plus, so if I'm wrong, I apologize for posting in the wrong area.

    weapon finesse should replace the strength modifier with dex, not add to it. my lvl 3 halfling rogue has 6 strength and 20 dex, and this bug is penalizing her attack modifier, with daggers, by 2.

    On a side note, if this stays in, I could pick up weapon finesse with my warrior, who has both high strength and high dex.
    Fixed v1.0.76 (was vanilla bug; also it only happened with negative STR modifier :) )


    Edit: after poking around, I decided it might just be a typo on my character sheet, and tested it in combat. I still got the -2 strength penalty, but I also got a misterious +2 modifier from my perfectly visible wolf target being "not visibile." Was this to offset a strength penalty, or something else?

    Nevermind about the invis modifier. I don't know why that showed up, but it hasn't showed up again in any of my other fights.

    Also, I tested it on my warrior (strength 19 dex 17) when he hit level 4, picked up weapon finesse, attacked a lacedon with his spiked chain, no bonus (good).

    So I guess this is only for strength penalties. I'm positive it's supposed to bypass the str penalty to hit, and pretty sure it did in co8 without temple+.
    Bug is also present in Co8/vanilla ;)

    Actually, I've seen trolls attack spiritual weapons now too, and I didn't have an entangle down.

    And, I'm not sure why, but after I got improved trip on my warrior, I wasn't getting the +2 bonus from the spiked chain.

    There is something weird with the configured resolution and mouse scrolling. I'm using my laptop with 1366 x 768 desktop resolution. If I set 1024 x 600 for the game, then there is a problem with scrolling to the left (up, down and right are ok). It looks like I have to move the mouse just one or two pixels away from the edge of the screen for the map to scroll. If I move the mouse directly on the left edge, it won't scroll. If I set the resolution to 1068 x 600, then scrolling to left is ok, but the same problem appears when scrolling up.

    I guess there is some problem with stretching the game window to desktop resolution and how the game detects the exact mouse coordinates.

    I've picked up an older ToEE game again and currently fail horribly at fighting the Balor.
    Anyway, I've noticed something strange, which might as well be an vanilla bug:

    So most of my party is afraid (and Remove Fear does nothing), my main tank - a dwarf - at some point even got charmed (spell resistance ever only works for the enemy) and charmed back (not sure if important).
    He's afraid as well, so he's running away like the coward he is - as far as possible. Two other afraid characters only run to some certain distance, their action bar still being in the green when they stop - so I should be able to perform some action, right?
    Yet, when I try to bring up ther radial menu (by right-clicking), I get the dwarf's menu instead, even though it's not currently his round to go - the initiative bar on top still has the other hero selected.

    I take it you would still want access to the window bar? (the minimaze/maximize/close buttons)

    Yeah apparently there's some problem with updating the mouse position in that situation. Looking into it. (you may be able to get around it for now by moving the mouse slowly)

    Can you send a save at the start of combat with the Balor?

    You must be this Lawful Good to continue as Paladin!
    Our party's NG Cleric of Obad-Hai went Cleric4/Fighter1/Paladin1 but could not take a second Paladin level, despite being able to level in all other base classes if we chose. Uhh...

    Lax rules are enabled.
    Couldn't replicate issue (user stated that Paladin was taken last); hasn't been reported again since

    Superior Expertise should be a Fighter Bonus Feat
    This link says so.
    Fixed 1.0.43

    Superior Expertise also got renamed to Improved Combat Expertise in Complete Warrior where it's a Fighter Bonus Feat.

    Greater weapon specialization doesn't seem to work.

    My fighter has weapon spec spiked chain and the thorned chains of love. He hit level 12 and I took greater weapon specialization as my bonus feat.

    I was not prompted to choose a weapon.

    During the next fight (random encounter in the water node), I got my +2 damage from basic specialization, but did not get a further +2 for greater weapon specialization.

    Fixed for 1.0.30

    Thinking about my problems with greater weapon specialization, I've realized I have no way of confirming if my rogue's Deadly Precision feat is working or also bugged.
