So is there anything like that? That's good, has lot's of C&C

I randomly stumbled upon this game called Corruption of Champions. But it turned out to be about transforming into a cat/bunny/dog penis/Incubus human and being raped if you lose a battle.

    http://fenoxo.com/play/

But playing a bit of it made me realize. Oh shit. I could actually stand to play a game like this that's srs.

And because you don't have to worry about fancy images your choices could actually change things in the game.

CoC is the real fucking deal. Nothing like raping a Minotaur's urethra.

Yeah that sounds terrible. I don't want to dungeon crawl in a text format. I fucking hate dungeon crawling in glorious HD formats.

I just think that text would be a better avenue to actual change shit about the game world.

  6. King of Dragon Pass probably counts. It's pretty texty.

The gameplay's so shit, though. Rape one minotaur's urethra you've raped them all with no variation. Too many goddamn furries and waifus and not enough actual gameplay. This won't do, this just won't do at all. Bethesda modders have it right, adding rapethirsty horses to an existing game. :rpgcodex:

Yeah, someday it'll develop into a full game but as of now it's just to see how weird shit can get.

More of an illustration of the inform 7 language's more exotic capabilities, but it is what it is. Graham Nelson's prose is always nice, of course!

These have been enjoyable. If a bit simplistic.

The vampire ones seems to be the best so far (no emo)

And Corruption of Champions could be good with less furry bs and more plot. But I doubt that's what the creators care about.

There are others on the "Make your own games" tab, by the way. Zombie Exodus is p. good.

Though they've been out of fashion for 15 years, I'm still pretty fond of gamebooks. The quality of their C&C varies a lot, though.

I found "Choice of the dragon" rather boring. "Choice of romance" (not a Harlequin story, despite the title) was fairly decent.

Hey, this looks quite nice indeed! Thanks, man!

I think there has been a sort of resurgence as of late. What with Joe Dever writing new Lone Wolf books and Ian Livinstone writing a new Fighting Fantasy one.

These are so depressing; there's one just like it where you try to prevent your death. There are many IF games.
Edit: I am not sure what it says about me but it only stopped being depressing when I did. It turned downright heat-warming. I love this medium quite a bit. It's a little like looking into a mirror, they way we play IF games.

Why was the first command I typed into the game "rape woman"? And why did it work? What is this place turning me into? :(

Zombie Exodus reads like The Walking Dead comic except with not shitty writing. Oh yeah and you control the action.

    Good stuff.

This one is pretty cool. Thanks!

I love text adventure games, but I feel the IF community doesn't really fills in the hole left by the end of Infocom and Legend Entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I have seen a lot of good works in the interactive fiction area. But most of these "games" seem to want to cut the game side a lot. Puzzles seem to be much less of the focus, the games are more linear than open, etc. I am sure there are probably exceptions in there, but as someone from the outside of the circle, it is pretty hard to know what these are and how exactly the community is doing these days.

You are right; they often seem more like an exercise in interactive storytelling and writing. This is good and bad. It's not like the Infocom games, though. (Except AMFV)

Is there anything like this except not in that setting plus maybe more story?
