In today's news, Iron Tower's Roman-themed RPG The Age of Decadence has been greenlit by Steam, which means the game will be accepted for distribution on Steam as soon as it's released (i.e., as the joke goes, next Thursday).

To quote the official announcement:

We're excited to announce the fourth set of games and software titles to advance through Steam Greenlight, and be offered worldwide distribution via Steam. This batch is comprised of ten games and two software titles, bringing the total to over 60 titles Greenlit since Steam Greenlight launched in August.

The latest software titles
  • articy:draft | Game Design Tool
  • GroBoto - Modeling App
The latest games
  • Akaneiro: Demon Hunters
  • Asylum
  • DLC Quest
  • Eador. Masters of the Broken World
  • La-Mulana
  • Leisure Suit Larry
  • MaK
  • The Age of Decadence
  • Unepic
  • War For The Overworld
As with past batches, these titles will be released independently in the months ahead, as they complete development and integrate with any of the Steamworks features they are interested in utilizing.

Congratulations to Vince and co.! (And congratulations also to the Eador guys and other lucky devs.)

Oh, and be sure to grab the latest version of the Age of Decadence demo while we're at it.

Congrats guys, I was really pulling for this one! And right after the total shit-smorgusboard pcgamer listed as their 25 greenlight games people should vote for, lawl. Because what gaming really needs is more pixalated side-scrollers named something wacky and unreadable like Qsm#(*Shde&.

Neat. DLC Quest made the cut too which is a pretty good satire on the industry.

I've played only a bit of AoD, but do like what I've played so far. So it's good to see it get through Greenlight.

Unexpectedly, Steam users aren't that dumb... except this one who posted "It's like Skyrim with turn-based combat" (yeah, I know, obviously trolling)

I guess that's good news for VD. Congrats!

Congrats! I'm also glad that Unepic, DLC Quest and Eador also made it.

The next step is to convince Vault Dweller not to be a stubborn ass about the game's price point. :smug:
