Fuck that, I never had any problems playing games that were supposed to be played with a pad using my keyboard (even MAME games or stuff like super meat boy), the shitty stick is not something I miss (arcade like sticks are great though).

DkS doesn't require much in the way of reflex or precision for the most part anyways. Pretty much only Gwynn challenged me that way. Everything else is learning paterns and noticing subtle (but slowly telegraphed) cues for attacks. Mouse + KB should be adequate. Though I'd probably still prefer a controller. 3rd person just feels wrong with a mouse to me. And keyboard kills my hand after a while, I'm not really used to wasd movement at all. Only things I use keyboard for movement I have it set to numpad (other hand) anyways.

There are hardly any games out there anymore that even require extensive Keyboard use, including PC exclusives. I play Civ V 100% with the mouse, but that's probably due to the fact that screen resolutions have become so high that you can now put every control/button directly on the screen.

Kinda funny, I used to memorize a gazillion of shortcuts when playing Star Trek: Starfleet Academy or the Commandos series. Those were the times...

I own it for Xbawks, but PC controls could improve it even more. WASD walking, attack & block on mouse buttons, shift+click for power attack or parry, TAB for weapons switch, space or ctrl for running & rolling, possible extra mouse button for using itens...it would be pretty sweet, and way more precise. Also, Mods.
