Man the extra games for the humble bundle are all garbage, figures

 

As if you'd be looking to play Magicka and KA two decades from now in the event Steam went offline~

 

Not sure about that... I got the Humble Bundle on 12th Sept for $4.60, beating that day average.
Now the average is 4.70, and still got the added games unlocked.

 

The only relevant BTA price is the the one at the time of your purchase.

 

You never know, I play games from the 80s still, although Magicka isn't on the same level. KA might be, but I haven't tried it yet.

 

KA isn't. It's a pretty bland Total War clone.

 

So... they are "greedy" because they are no longer giving you all that free stuff for $1, but instead making you pay... $5?

Thanks, I followed one of the LPs for a bit and it seemed interesting.

 

It's not awful, just not particularly interesting either. The battles themselves are a lot more tedious and slower paced than the Total War series and auto-resolve has a tendency to make you lose a lot of units even if you have far superior numbers and units. The choose-your-own-adventure parts make the campaign interesting, though.

Ultimately, it's probably good for an afternoon of fun and not much more.

 

So the new games in the HIB9 seem pretty average, 2 of them being repeated from previous bundles.

Are the others worth it?

 

Pretty much yeah.

 

They are not greedy ,but are not humble too.All of the games you can buy on steam sale for 6$ anyway.Meh

 

I grabbed two Magicka copies for myself and my girl. Seems like a cool game. None of DLC sound particularly interesting, won't bother. 2 dollars well spent.

 

The Stars Are Left DLC for Magicka was actually loads better than the original campaign.

 

New Humble Weekly Sale is up, and it's pretty much the entire X series.

 

Thanks for the head's up! I never played the X series, and the 'dex consensus is that it's a bit boring. Still, I love my space games and I was always curious ever since the games started appearing in the bargain bins, so I tossed in $1 for the older versions of the game.

 

Lol Metro with the Steam fanboyism again. It's not bad if you're deprived of your games, who cares? Plus you know that papa Gabe wouldn't ever do that to us.

I'm not buying a single bundle with this infested DRM garbage.

 

Steam fanboyism > Jesus Fanboyism. At least I can see evidence of GabeN's great works.
