    <p><a href="http://thelordzgamesstudio.com/index.php?page=lordz" target="_blank" title="Lordz">The Lordz Games Studio</a>, best known for their <a href="http://lordz.thelordz.co.uk/index.php?id=5,0,0,1,0,0" target="_blank" title="NTW2">Napoleonic Total War II</a> mod, are stepping into the dangerous world of <a href="http://slitherine.com/lgs/announcement.htm" target="_blank" title="announcement">commercial game development</a> with the help of <a href="http://slitherine.com/" target="_blank" title="Slitherine">Slitherine</a>.</p><blockquote><p> London, 28th January 2007. Slitherine is pleased to announce that it is to work closely with the Lordz Game Studio on it&rsquo;s first commercial title. Already well known for their award winning mods, the Lordz has built up an impressive team over the last few years and decided it was time to make the leap from award winning mods to award winning games! Slitherine have worldwide rights to publish and distribute the title. </p><p>Although it is too early to release many details on the new project, Slitherine and the Lordz have said that it will be a historical strategy game set during the Napoleonic wars. The game will support single and multiplayer and have a campaign game. The game will make use of the Arcane Legion engine developed by Slitherine, which has been nominated for the technical excellence award at the Independent Games Festival.</p></blockquote><p>They don't have much to show at the moment except for some <a href="http://thelordzgamesstudio.com/index.php?page=screenshots" target="_blank" title="concept art">concept art</a>.
