it isnt incompetnance. EA will have done it deliberately as punishment for ''hacking''. Remember the guy who had his DA2 single player and multiplayer profiles disabled because he said bad stuff on the forums? EA is a joke of a company.

You also reminded me of another. The Rachni were indoctrinated. The whole Rachni War that happened a thousand years before ME1 was because Sovereign indoctrinated them. They were consuming the galaxy so Sovereign could retake the Citadel and turn it back on for the Reaper invasion. So why spend over 1k years trying to do that when it just takes maybe a couple years to get back into space?

Indeed, they've literally been begging Bioware to let them pay for "real ending" DLC.

They really could abuse the whole "emotionally engaging" stuff to boost up the sales. Just like it was in TOR, some fuckable NPC from game begging to not cancel the subscription, and so on, but here we have Tali. You don't wanna let Tali starve on alien planet, do you, fucker? Then buy the DLC with a happy ending, you bedouin! You won't? Then you're a sick bastard without feelings, look how wild fauna devours her remains!
This shit would be fucking ingenious, especially with a fanbase like that. Too bad Bioware writers lack a finesy and intelligence to do it.

 

So, I finished Me3

I actually liked some parts of the game. The opening sucked and was retarded, and the ending is just... what? I don't even.... I don't understand how they could think it was a good way to end the series. I guess I truly CANNOT COMPREHEND.

I really liked the parts in the middle though. Got quite emotionally engaged from the stuff on tuchanka, and the geth/quarian stuff was pretty good too I think. However, there's no denying that all of the best stuff is just stuff that's continuing from me2.

Bioboards seem quite ragin' at the endings too.
