The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

Bioware makes Mass Effect 3, children die.

Choices and Consequences, bitch.

 

Been playing Saints Row the Third and it handles a Collector base type decision far better than this POS series does. You have the choice of destroying an enemy building which provides you reputation points(what levels you up) vs keeping it which provides a monetary bonus to every mission you do.

That a gag game like SR handles C&C better than a hyped "RPG" series based on "choice" is both pitiful and comical.

 

What's so weird about this?

A shmup like Tyrian handles weapon diversity and situational utility better than modern DPS-based HnS/RPG/MMOs as well.

 

When there are jobs like this, you know the Decline is here to stay:

 

Official forums for games are purely marketing tools. A game that has a lukewarm to above average reception can easily be shaped to appear unanimously loved to a casual observer. A game that has a shitty reception can be worked to convince the community that things will be better next time. Pay 2 or 3 people minimum wage or third world wage to police forums is cheap advertisement.

Cartel Expansion
Bioware announced the first expansion to SWTOR this week, Rise of the Hutt Cartel! It will arrive in Spring 2013 and cost $20 for free to play users and $10 for subscribers. The level cap will be increased to 55, there is a new story on the Hutt Cartel, new planet Makeb, new skills in each skill tree, faction-specific storylines, new Heroic missions and bosses, repeatable mission series, and new Datacrons. Dread Guard gear won't be replaced with leveling gear either!

Here are all of them that have been made so far, thank god there aren't anymore fucking weird ones like the first one I posted. Although having said that now I'm probably gonna get 4 sweaty krogan testicles all over my screen and I'll have to burn my house down.
